Oh I forgot. I tried the dedicated pool (42.dedicatedpool.com) with cgminer several times but it will never connect.
The error I get is as follows while using cgminer: "pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: <null>"
Ive since then joined another pool and it is working perfectly but I would like a good second pool to test mine and see which pool has the best potential.
"pool 0 JSON stratum auth failed: <null>" It means you didn't set your workers up correctly. These are my settings: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3342 -u Weblogin.Worker -p workerpw -I 13 For the "weblogin.worker" I put "workername.1", does weblogin mean I need to put "login.workername.1"? If so that is where my confusion stems because all my currently used pools do not require weblogin before workername. All workers are named after your username (weblogin). When you register a new account on a pool, you need to create a Username (along with pass, email pin, etc). Example of Username: maxi. After logging in with your username and password, you go to "My Workers" to create a new worker. Under "Add New Worker" you have the option to type a new worker name and password. For Example if you name your worker "1" in the worker name box, your worker will be called maxi.1. If you name it housework2, it will me named maxi.housework2. Password could be anything you want (lets use 1234 as an example). After the workers are created, you can see them on the right side of the same page (under worker configuration). cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3342 -u maxi.1 -p 1234 -I 13 cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://east1.us.stratum.dedicatedpool.com:3342 -u maxi.housework2 -p 1234 -I 13 Hope it helps.

not, the real rarely are the creators, not the coin
you can see one man make a gamingweb, and hendo and maco only help him coming here and saying hey guys give 42 coins to this man, they dont give coins to him .
NOT HELP ONE SHIT TO PromotE the coin only sell all premined coins when coin start in exchange, and try to do the same with all the coins they can, before everybody knows them too much.
be sure im responsable, talk about you to all the cryptos beginers, if you are in proyect this sure is SHIT.

What happened to this coin? Price just keeps falling. 1900, 1000, 300, 200, wow, are we going to 100? So some guys made some money when it was 1900, then run away?

Whenever a new coin hits a market, there's always a buying frenzy, driving the price up. After that, the price almost always goes down. I started mining 42 from minute 0, but I didn't sell when prices were high. I'm "collecting" 42, trying to see if I can ever accumulate a single whole coin. I'm up to almost 60,000 Dents now. From my perspective, lower prices are better so I can buy more.

This is realy a low numer compared others. Possiby gets 10 times boost in the future. You'll be rich, man.

There would not be any serious problems with that if there was not a 1% (0.42) pre-mine. (I guess they consider things like - how many markets they just opened recently - popularity among the early miners - how serious the developers look - other personal preferences, etc.) I don't know what happened with the pre-mined coins. And I certainly don't want to throw empty accusations on the table. I don't even personally think that Hendo sold the pre-mined 0.42 already. But it's always a risk in the air about this coin that somebody alone has a relatively huge amount of [42] coins (enough to flood the exchanges and suck the buy orders dry) which he acquired for (almost, relatively) free. And that's why speculators won't touch the [42] market until a lot more coins are mined (and thus the pre-mined amount becomes relatively small when compared to the whole volume), if ever... That, or until it's a proven fact that the pre-mined amount was (preferably) sold out or (acceptably) given away to many different people already. Then you might gonna start notice some huge spikes on the price charts. I personally eold some [42] coins from time to time until I figured this out. Now I have zero but I still keep an eye on it to buy some again.

HENDO WHAT HAPPEND WITH THE PREMINED COINS?
Everybody wants to know I think.
+1 Why did they give some of that premine to 42Dice when the site was clearly not ready ? How much ? He /they got the Virustotal taken care of but the site remains buggy and very cheap looking. I am still out the 0.0021 42 I was stupid enough to re-invest in 42 Dice. Yup thats right, I gave 42Dice the benefit of the doubt, again. Thanks for making me think this was a safe investment maco ! Hi Maco.
Should I trust 42Dice ?
Yesterday I invested most of my 42, 0.0021, into 42Dice and have since decided to back out for various reasons.
Thus far, he has refused to return my coins and now claims that the 'founders' of 42coin have decided to invest aswell.
Can you please confirm this ?
HT xD
Hey, I don't know if I can say "I TRUST 42Dice" .. because I just met the guy about a week ago. The thing is... he does seem pretty active on the project and I am still asking him to make changes to the site progressively and waiting for the new updates. I am monitoring him little by little, and so far .. he seems to be okay. As a general rule of thumb, I would figure that I lost my investment as soon as I sent it out because you never know what could happen with this person. So I only invest what I am willing to lose. I sure hope this is not the case in any investment but that's how the investment game goes I guess. I only invest what I am prepared to lose. Then again, there may be an early opportunity up for grabs for being an invested partner in his project... so who knows, right? Honestly, its your coins and I just recommend investing wisely in anything you do... even if it wasn't 42, I'd tell you the same thing about other coins or projects. I may get involved in this launch to help him get started or it may be someone else looking to invest. I am not 100% sure at this point I am waiting for an update from him. If you want to get on Skype with us, pm me your Skype username and lets map this out. Hi and thx for the quick response. I initially had other reasons for wanting out. Considering how he was seemingly giving me the run around, it should be understandable why I was a bit nervous. Not so much, now that I know you and Hendo are working with him. Is this anything to be worried about ? https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/96b5ad2e84fcfc467712c2c6a61da5f00741f85006b6e3347a63bf2a41ffc451/analysis/I'd also like to apologize for being a bit harsh on the main thread. Please don't take anything I've said personally. Regards HT xD

Could transaction data comments be added for 42? That way, a DAC could be developed, with the blockchain providing answers, to everything. The idea would be, of course, that only ideas voted in as being "the answer to everything" (or anything?) would be ranked up or made visible. Therefore, 42 would therefore become the answer to everything, even if it wasn't in the first place.

@ Hippie Tech Don't take this personally. I don't blame you. I don't say it's your fault (these are all way above me). But... it seems like wherever you go (at least where I see you) problem seems to follow. The circus ranges from small amounts of investments in stupid gambling sites to ripping apart 'colossial' evil masterplans aimed to milk the whole altcoin business dry. I am beginning to think I should ignore any other conspiracy theories about evil master plans and blackmails, and simply ask: Who YOU really are? A Time Lord, or something? LOL

Hendo hasn't even sold off his holdings and neither did I or others who are more so holders of 42 as the community (75% is in your hands) was that not important to you? Not a team holding the most amount of coins and dumping? 42 has had a Steady drop... because of Multi-Pools Retargeting issues.. However, we are working with FRANKO (FRK) because they have successfully defeated multi-pools DAILY Dumping problems Multi-pools dump 100% of their 42 for BTC... but remember, we are stopping them very shortly with the next update. The fact is... you can't look '42 team' as possible dumbers because there has been complete transparency and the team still holds 42... Wait till we implement gravity. Its not like the team disappeared, we are working on twitter/updating the posts daily and making new progress with www.42coin.org/news and all new press releases. Don't forget 42 team does not own majority of the coins. The community holds more than 75% of 42.. so what is the point at looking at hendo especially when no one from the team DUMPED any coins even when it was at its high. We believe in 42 coin and we are taking this where NO OTHER crypto has gone before... and we already have done so... even at the current price range. Get ready for Crypto Currency 3.0. 42 will make charts once our new technology update is launched Check out the www.42coin.org/news search engine and give us your feedback!

The bugs I reported are still present and I /we are still waiting for a detailed explanation with regards to the Virustotal flags. Its easy to see he rushed the launch so as to have an excuse for keeping my 42. No investor ? He told me one has been found with a matching 0.0021 42 stake. edit The coins are still there. http://altexplorer.net/address/4QurRkD9qfjWTEnrHPmXyj3HnWMnwW7XyrHendo420 and/or maco : Plzz buy me out with a tiny bit of your monster premine. Like I said if the other investor is okay with it then I will return your coins. He has not replied yet.
His decision should not be coming into play here. You claimed the site was complete on January 30. This is further proof that you have been trying to mislead people.Return my 0.0021 NOW. HT xD It does. You agreed 2 month opt out. You opt out and my other investor and me gets screwed. The site was finished to my knowledge.
