To show we are serious about our customers and tell hackers to fuck the hell off we are the FIRST system on MPOS that have 2 factor authentication integrated.

This means that when you want to change stuff like your payout address; or want to make a manual payout; you have to unlock this via email!!!

THIS GIVES HACKERS NO CHANCE. unless they have access to your email too; which means you have been so stupid to use the same passwords for both...

We care; we really do. http://42.pooljunkie.nl

Man, with 42Coin back down under $900 I regret buying into it at 1500. I got fucked over. I regret getting into this. Now I'm a bag holder who can't make a profit and lost half his btc

Sad

You guys make profit at my expense.

The trick is to buy twice as much on the down swing to even it out. Just hold the coins for a while, you can still make profit! It's only the first week of 42 coin madness.

Yeah, but you never know when is the swing really down.

What I like to do is set progressively larger buys at lower and lower prices. 42coin is a great miner investment because if the price goes down you should be able to mine more of it to sell in the next bubble. I'm going to hold my 42coin and buy a mining rig on credit and if the price goes up I win and pay off the rig and if it goes down I mine and pay off rig at the next bubble.

Are you talking about martingale?
Don't get me wrong, I am holding few dents too, just in case the price will once go up again. I think this is quite a risky investment which may bring great profits but not necessarily.

And one question about the 42 coin itself: Maybe I missed that information, but will the block reward ever be decreased? Or it will remain constant 4200 dents until it's mined out?

42 will be going up BIG Time, just wait for the media and promotions coming up, better buy now while its low.
Its better to get rid of these scared owners now it will be much more stable once it goes up again.

42 will go over 2000 in a week.

Hi myrinx,
just want to say I really like your pool. Mined most of my 42 there, and I see for ppl got coins stuck (cause of hackers) you also found a solution. So great work!

What's the solution to get back the coins that were on the old server?

Hello,
Are we going to get back our coins ? I had two accounts of two small farms on your old pool and did not have the time to set up any withdraw address. Are you in the process of getting back the accounting of old server ?
Hopefully you will return to us all the coins.

dedicatedpool all the way but does anyone know about cryptopools?

I remember that they said we could login but even since then I have been locked with no response.

Are they as bad as pooljunkie ended up being for us first nighters?

If you just need your account unlock, PM me your username.  If you need PIN/password reset, PM ahmed_bodi.

Go to http://42C.cryptopools.com to withdraw your coins.

And if we want to steal your coins, we wouldn't have spent all day yesterday getting the site back online.

-tb-

I didn't want to do this outside of PM message but I'm not getting anywhere with you guys?

I have PM'd you twice, you then ask me to contact ahmed_bodi, I sent him 2 PM's as well and nothing has been done for the last 2 days?

Care to explain?

relax. i saw you're message this morning. im at college 9-5 and only get on the pc for 2 hours a day lately. thats 2 hours to check the pools are safe running well sort through issues etc. jump on IRC on freenode #cryptopools and ill get you're password or pin or whatever u need reset when im online.

Taking profits I would have thought. Or liquidating some coins from hacks? To be fair the coins economy hasn't developed enough to justify wild swings just upwards.

Supply and demand!

Supply is increasing on a daily basis due to mining, there is no reason for demand to increase after the initial buzz and even if demand remained static prices would drop as supply goes up.

As prices drop further, some who held at over 1000 will sell rather than risk losing all they have!

In order for demand to increase, the coin needs publicity - national news, Keiser report etc etc.

The business insider article is difficult to find from the BI home page and has been read by less than 10000 people - mostly from this thread I suspect (this thread has over 50k views).

One other issue is that the coin has a name which is difficult to search for - try googling 42 or even search for 42 on business insider and you will see what I mean.

This could be aided by always referring to the coin as 42COIN with no spaces!

Suggest we all pool together and try and get publicity and reward anyone who does with lots of dents!

Plain and simple formula to compute how a coin is really worth is:

BTC max number of coins divided by target coin's max number of coins.   Then divide by 1000.

Ex:
- BTC max number of coins = 21,000,000
- VEL max number of coins = 42

21,000,000 / 42 = 500,000
500,000 / 1000 = 500

So, VEL is worth 500BTC.

Try it with other coins...  Sure, some are hyped-up.  Some are undervalued.  Can depend on a lot of factors, like under-marketing of a coin, over-hype, ...  And the 'divide by 1000' factor at the end also can fluctuate.  But it's a good start.

Ex: TRC
- BTC max number of coins = 21,000,000
- TRC max number of coins = 42,000,000

21,000,000 / 42,000,000 = 0.5
0.5 / 1000 = 0.0005

which is about the current price point, 0.0005 BTC.

Plain and simple formula to compute how a coin is really worth is:

BTC max number of coins divided by target coin's max number of coins.   Then divide by 1000.

and you need to divide it by 1000 because.. hmm.. you said so?

true value of the coin can't be calculated. it is worth exactly as much as one is willing to pay for it. not a penny more, not a penny less..

I remember a year ago when value of the coin was calculated trough electricity needed to produce them and comparing with electricity needed to produce bitcoin..
If you could calculate value of alt coin, it will loose the purpose.
