Because the current market seem to be at around that for now, but it's a rough estimate. LTC is an exception, which seem to have come out on it's own. The factor is about divide by 10, mainly because it has come out on it's own, as a 'grown-up' coin! But remember it used to be worth 100 times less for a loooong time, which used to be 'divide by 1000'... |

to be honest guys im not hatter or anything ... its just the truth
being there is only 42 coins does not mean it will go to moon .... the community makes the coin .. its people who really likes it ... also the demand on it

yea i just keep wondering if they are dumping their coin from the start of if this is doing of a few hackers who robbed the pools? or the worst is the community bored of this? i am holding some not at the worst price but im not in profit now ofc and mining this coin simpy just doestnt pay out since WE the community have to mine those high diff block and when it changes to low multipools jusk kick it back to just pay electricity ... THIS COIN NEED SOME PROTECTION FROM MULTIPOOLS !! otherwise it will die like it is! still holding my bought dents but starting to not believe this will ever be good again because mining is not ever worth pointing my guns when its profitable like 10 min a day    |

But remember it used to be worth 100 times less for a loooong time, which used to be 'divide by 1000'... so.. tomorrow when "current market" will be different you will just change you coefficient? that long time for LTC you are referring.. april? june? or august? what you are saying is pure speculation. if we follow you, we don't need any more alt coins, ever. we will know the value even before it's released, just calculate by your formula. we can even create alt coin with certain value if we want just by using the formula.. maybe devs of new alt coins need to utilize your formula in their announcements, just to show how valuable is their coin -.- the coin is worth as much as one is willing to pay for it. and there is no math in the world to calculate how much one is willing to pay for the coin. |

Litecoin can be exchanged directly for established currencies such as USD and GBP etc. Surely that's the major difference..? But even so, if you check the charts it's value is almost a perfect mirror for Bitcoin. |

Hi can someone help, I'm trying to mine 42 solo, but I keep getting Invalid user when I start up CgMiner.
I haven't had any problems mining other coins solo. I've set up the conf file as you normally would have tried many time but to no avail.

Devs need to work on some marketing ASAP! Everyone need to ping hendo! when hendo was active interest was high, it was high volume, and price was rising.. now, when there is no visible actions from hendo, it's low volume, and price is falling.. Hendo, we need you to actively promote the coin..

Same problem here, don't know what I'm doing wrong. keep getting probing from an alive pool pool 0 slow/down or url, or credentials invalid yet I'm solo mining with cgminer and not joining a pool? wat. |
