Maco (the dev's assistant) is showing as online now - hopefully we will hear from him soon what is being done to keep the promotion of the coin going!

As an aside the buy / sell depth chart on cryptsy is now looking promising.

As for what happened to the premine there are references to this earlier in the thread if you care to read / search back.

EDIT:

This link should help:

what you think, how low will go today ?
Anyone knows why we take this dip ?

Any thoughts ?

somebody is liquidating all the coins from the hacks, seems to be a lot....  Roll Eyes

I watched someone sell about 14btc worth of 42 lastnight. It broke my heart.

First they obliterated 2 buy walls, one 5btc and one 2btc.

Then they set up sell orders for another 5btc and 2btc.

I went to bed at that point.  Cry

Who is to blame for the Hacks Hendo, is it the pool owners? it's a shame, there should have been measures put in place before mining pools are launched. there are always hackers hitting new coins. pool owners should know this by now. Sad

Its not always the pool owners fault. There is a hacker that has a list of login details from some compromised pool. They now take that around to all the altcoin pools and attempt to log in with thoes details.

This is why it is so important to use unique passwords.

Well now that you are back, there will be new confidence in the market i'm sure. I don't have enough hashing power to mine effectively not even on a pool with my 350kh/s so I bought in when it was over a thousand. I'm sure we will see that price again and beyond, I'm holding.

This coin has turned half of my facebook friends into miners btw. lol

People who only knew what bitcoin was through me, now want to mine 42.

Every other day I'm walking one of my friends through how to mine it.  Grin Grin Grin

All it took was a few posts on my facebook wall about how 42s high has been something like $1.8mil per coin.

Here is some of the premine:

http://altexplorer.net/address/4FDyGJ9Lwbw4GKyQnzwuthk2GLjJiGeRQb

Still trying to follow the rest as it has been passed from address to address literally hundreds of times.

Atleast 1500 times.

Every time I get back on the givaway thread to give more coins it moves that part.

Every time I send coins to 1 person it moves the larger amount to a new address. That part is still in my giveaway wallet. lol

I tried breaking off a smaller piece for the giveaways so it doesn't move such a large amount but it doesn't help alot when I'm sending a shit ton of tiny amounts over a small period of time. lol

Whats odd is there is more in my giveaway wallet than is listed on that link. I think it got split to multiple addresses in the same wallet at some point.

Thanks, yes there is more in another wallet but I got fed up following that so I assume it's the main giveaway one!

Folks who buy high and sell low and then cry "scam" should probably find something else to do with their time.

Nobody has a gun to your head forcing you to trade ANY coin.

+1

The giveaway makes it seem like coins are being traded out each time but they are not. Devs don't need to dump that is not the point of this coin.

You can not promote a coin without resources. A 1% premine is very reasonable. Do what you need to do dev(s).

The leader owns ~50% of TOTAL 42 volume (minus everything he sold)

You're a moron if you think that's reasonable

http://altexplorer.net/chain/42
Coins:   0.9377337

That is the total of the coins mined, not owned by the Dev.

correct.

I think this might be the ultimate'shit'coin'killer' with 'limited' supply.

Kings Accepting BTC?

So who is accepting 42 ?

You will find out shortly on the next big announcement from the 42 team.

are you saying THAT ^^ is not ~50% of 0.9377337?

Just clearing things up.
Not calling out anyone or anything like that. Because it says quite clearly on 1st page it's 1% premined.
