I'm frustrated again today in mining our coin (NOBL). The last time that my pool (CoinMine) found a block was more than 5 hrs ago...
Experts, can you shed light on this? I'm a newbie in this passion of ours... every explanation is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
aha, the explanation above makes sense... thanks...
The high difficulty (20-30) will take a large chunk out of your mining profitability and because the total hash power is so unbalanced, it will make it much harder for small pools to find blocks and then get payouts. Just hang in there and keep mining. More than likely the crazy high hash rate will drop back down if the past few weeks is anything to go by...

@ Backlash, thanks for the explanation... hope it will be back to normal in the days to come... for sure those peeps with TH/s hashing power are sucking all the available network/ hashing speed for their own advantage... for us GPU miners, we are left in the dust... tsk tsk tsk... perhaps it would be a nice to have for NOBL to evolve into a multi-algo coin like Myriad... ah, i'm just shooting the stars on this... hehehe... for sure, those "pumpers and dumpers" have their day yesterday, today and tomorrow... gggrrrr... honestly, had tried to switch mining coins since last night but, after some minutes, i'll get back to NOBL even there was no activity in my pool. i decided to just keep in mining NOBL... even there was no block found for quite some time now... Noble Coin just melts my heart away

This person is finding all the blocks that causes your pool not to find any Yeah the address seems to have mined 60mln already, starting from 20 Apr. IMHO large part of it has been already dumped during April and May. Edit: so, if that entity has not accumulated before, and started mining yesterday, it means they can collect maximum of ~7 mln NOBL a day. But in the meantime they slowed down, we're again under 1 GH. I just added the addr to my watch list, not much else I can do.

Quite huge mining power, he's getting most of the blocks (up to 95%) From the patterns, it is an unidentified multipool or a private farm that is dumping on poloniEx. Feel free to use the Address Watch feature to get a slightly early warning of an upcoming dump, the Address Watch notifications are sent after 1 confirmation by the explorer, poloniEx expects more than that, so even if he autosells ASAP with a bot, that could give you a few minutes of advanced warning.

^ thanks... once i'll arrived home, i'll shift to Poolinero... the sun was not shining at CoinMine since last night (my time here)... i'm just monitoring the mining activities here in the office... a nice work around... "if we can't beat 'em (ASIC miners), lets join 'em (use ASIC miners too)"...

Actually it fell under "P2Pool", they seem to generate some non-standard transactions with an output with a value of zero. I tweaked the detection code, they'll be classified more accurately from now on.

It's time to find a way to buy NBC You want to buy the whole TV network? I guess NOBL will get cheaper advertisements on NBC then?

Not sure, I thing he might also be rerferring to New Bitcoin which was announced 30th august 2013 and as it seems died after.... Maybe he is a bag holder or something. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=284007.0

Hi Noble community. As some of you already know I have a site called Earthazaar.com. The site is a merchant gateway where members can add storefronts and have public auctions. The site is now accepting several cryptos for payment. I was wondering if there would be any interest from the Noble community in collaborating? The site accepts only crypto for payment on products, services, and auctions and pays out in Earthcoin. It pays out in EAC because this is the default currency of the site and products are priced in EAC. One of the new projects I have planned is adding an exchange to the site that has earthcoin as an exchange pair so EAC can be exchanged by Earthazaar sellers for the coin of their choice (NOBL). Would there be any interest from the Noble community in adding products or auctions to the site if I added Noble as a payment option? This would give NOBL an extra merchant site where people could buy products and auction items for Noblecoin, and would give me more inventory and help the site to grow. Of course, Noble would also be added as an EAC/NOBL exchange pair when the exchange is launched.
