Thanks guys. We got a lot of things we're trying to work on moving forward, which is why we're beginning to scount for more paid development and team members longterm. It should all come hitting in one after another later in the year.

I really like the idea of teams and developers trusted and paid to work on their 'specialities' across multiple coins that offer something different.

Noble is getting a more and more growing company with own marketplace like amazon. and every nobleholder has its own shares Smiley

what about some ideas for promo?
a give away when PoS is available? or before the change? when people see that price is rising they are more likely to hold than when they see price is stable.
when they see price will rise and they can mine their own nobles in their wallet they will hold and love, I think Wink

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

...
you missed the last post on page 412

Yeah I read that after I replied. Doh. Smiley

So is there a link to all the new wallet additions currently?

There are a bunch of things like I said I'm incorporating into the wallet (this shows just IRC & block explorer). You might recognize the current colour scheme from another coin (playing with a few designs, I really like the CAIx & new Cloak wallet also - we'll probably offer a version of them all). I'm looking at wallet private messaging and market data tabs next. My biggest concern is code auditing and making sure a plethora of new features don't cause unwanted forks or are security leaks for ourselves or for exchanges.

The github is below. It's a placeholder at the moment until the PoS fork is successful so we can merge wallet/protocol and follow best github/development practices (our current github looks less than ideal from a security & professional standpoint). If anyone wants to toy with it/bug hunt and/or play around adding additional features go for your life. I'm more than happy to offer generous bounties. There are still a number of design/functionality bugs and the IRC can be fairly unstable (might be an environment issue I think).

The wallet github is a side-project (but still relatively stable) and a placeholder until we get PoS out. The protocol/hard fork is being handled externally by someone more experienced with PoS than myself. My work is prioritised elsewhere but it is indirectly related and will benefit us in the long run, that's all I can really say. I'm hoping to push out a wallet upgrade (non-mandatory) that is more stable/design polished every couple of weeks (non source, compiled version).

Github: https://github.com/jlcurby/NobleCoin-wallet-placeholder (anyone compiling might need to change dependency folders)

Nice! Very, very nice... I like the black, looks, well, looks "Noble"!

If we accept more donations for a giveaway, we should consider accepting BTC which we would use to buy Noble giving us a bit of volume as well. Two birds with one stone.

Hmm, should we revisit whether to fork to POS/POW? I think they waited far too long though.

This is over my head, can we get an assessment from our POS expert?

I don't think we should change plans so far in development.

I don't think we should change plans so far in development.

Do it once and do it right. sometimes it's better to change mid stream rather than wish you had. And this would only be adding so the work already done should be usable. Not to mention the fact Rofo wanted to do this in the first place.

The wall at 16 on Bittrex is mine. Sell into that if you like. I'll be buying more.

It's getting to the point where if I have to do it myself I will. This scene is going to the gutter, but I mean it when I say we're working on things and I'll back it up with more than words.

Edit: Yes I'm a little frustrated, so I'm taking profits from 'the next big thing' after 'the next big thing' and buying the reserves back as I can.

If 16 doesn't tickle your fancy, I'll plonk it on 17 later in the day, and so on until it's all sold in to. I'll also pull .5 of it out right now and munch that .5 wall on 18.

@Rofo: You are one of the best developers I've ever seen. No need to be frustrated. It's not worth it.
@everyone: This move should be appreciated. We don't see developers backing his/her own coin, recently.

I'm also Buying, anyone who sells up now will be kicking themselves in a few months time, Pos coins seem to hold value. When this coin turns POS you'll see an increase!

I think Noble still lacks a proper video presentation. Saw the Reddcoin video today and it looks really awesome; probably professionally done too.
Maybe using that money to get something like that done would be beneficial.

I agree, however this fund is not nearly enough for a professional video. (saw some offers as low as 100-200 USD, depending on wether it needs scrypting and how long it needs to be.)

i agree video andmaybe some new infographics would be very good. But really we need to wait till details are finalised so the content is correct and current. Im sure the community could raise funds if needed, im happy to throw some in.
