Updated two P2Pool nodes to the new network, now your shares are valid for 12 blocks instead of 3 and your share diff target is based on your hash rate.

This update will give you more consistent payouts.

P2Pool EU node http://coinardia.com:9171/static/

P2Pool US 1 node http://54.201.53.12:9171/static/

P2Pool US 2 node http://209.126.75.152:9171/static/

P2Pool Asia coming!

Boristhespider, I've been mining on your p2p stratum+tcp://p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9171 and the last payout I rec'd was at 3:30 am est...
there have been 2 blocks found since then.. am I just unlucky that I have gotten zero payout in 7 hours?? miners are still up and running, averaging about 1.6-1.8 mh/s after stales, I restarted cgminer just in case but I'm not sure what's going on??

reason I ask is I usually get some kind of payout every hour or so, longest gap in recent payouts has been 3 hours... now it's been over 7, no immature coins waiting, no nothing.
got me a little worried.

I am suspecting this is because I updated my node early for the new p2pool changes - it will have reset PPLNS so you will now see a short period while payments ramp back up on the new sharechain. Please can you PM me if you don't get anything in the next ~12 hours so I can investigate.

It happened couple weeks ago to me as well.
Normal accepted shares no HW or all rejects.
I miss payments 1 or 2 blocks, and then receiving as normal again.
Then miss all blocks afterward
Seems to have been a regular issue, restarting doesn't work.
So if i miss payment for more than 5 blocks i switch to another node.
Not practical..
The other thing I notice with p2pool is I also receive payment
from block other than what is listed in p2pool's last blocks found list.
Not sure what to make of it ? Maybe cumulative of missing blocks payment ?

Now over 50 BTC!

Thanks for giving me a try!

Would you be willing to swap the the buy and sell order books? Right now the buy order book is on the left while I think most other exchanges have the buy order book on the right. This caused me to make a double take when I thought the sell side was offering below the buy side.

https://vertcoinheavyindustries.com/external/vhi_ad.png

We are the smallest large pool so if you mine with https://vertcoinheavyindustries.com you can improve the network security without sacrificing variance! We find a block every 40 minutes on average so payouts are regular and predictable. I should also mention we charge only 1% and charge no withdrawal fees for both automatic and manual payouts except for the the network enforced transaction fee.

tried several times,

Token expired, please try again Tokens are used to help us mitigate attacks; Simply try again to continue

I'm sorry about this Shirenlihei. I've also noticed the tokens lifespans are a bit aggressive. It is on my todo list to fix but right now it is possible to get past if you try again right after the token timeout.

So we should not add anything such as +0.000116 to our payout address because you're already calculating it on the pools end?

I will consider it.

I'll probably also rename them to Buy / Sell instead of Bid / Ask.

Yes please I asked for something similiar a couple pages ago Smiley

.

It is time to get some clarity on the logo. The community here and on reddit has come up with a couple of awesome designs and after deciding on the tick or checkmark as an official Vertcoin currency symbol, we have started a new logo design contest for the new Vertcoin logo with our currency symbol in it.

Please head over here for details or post logo designs and suggestions in this thread. We will have a vote on the new logo in the forum early next week.

+DIFF just controls graphing and not payouts anyway. I suggest when you mine with a node running the new code you give it a try for a while first with defaults to see how it works for you. You can use /DIFF to force a specific share difficulty (but it won't go lower than the minimum network share difficulty of course). However smaller miners should mostly be getting minimum difficulty work now automatically.
