i have two comp. running in the same pool wallets open on both comp.one has no connection .how do i get it to connect  .it did before.should i worry .

It's no problem - won't cause any issues, but the wallet should be syncing - are you sure internet connectivity from that second computer is OK? I believe there are no sync problems on the network at large at the moment - I put up more nodes a while back, and I know some other people did too.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

20 verts from me to the water project. I dont care about doges and pandas, let's make this coin matter for the masses rather than select few greedy individuals

10 vtc for the water project
Transaction ID: 18943aa0a13873007cb77dcd8235b44827e366c642eacae0a52889536b8a0999

Sent 10 VTC. Almost there!  Smiley

Edit: Correction, if they're looking for $5000 then we're not quite there yet... I'll add some more later after I've bought more.

You guys took us past 1400 while I was sleeping,  Your awesome-ness has already reached the goal!  I owe some matching funds,  Should I push the Well project higher,  Or should I spread the love and fund something else with the matching funds?

Personally I'd vote for the well... The original post said you needed $5000, and with 1400 you're not there yet. I'd like to get as close as possible to that goal.

Spread the love!!! we can come back to the water well later. The more diversity in projects the better.

There are things that were funded recently that are in the works  Wink (marketing, animation etc)

Edit: dying? a week of relatively stable prices (2-3$), and a lot of work done behind the scenes in development/marketing is not considered dying.

If the price picked up we would definitely be so much closer to the target. Price just keeps slipping everyday.

I think when promoting we should really point out why vertcoin isn't "yet another bitcoin". For instance bitcoin was made to decentralise financial payment, but with the recent asic addition the mining system seems centralising.. vertcoin has a solution for this etc

yep and don't forget the planed features with moolah.ch (amazon etc.)....
if you are looking for quick profit maybe vtc is not the right thing.
if you are patient just ignore the flavor of the week and concentrate on vtc.

It seems 1400 vert is not enough, as that is not close to the $5000 target.

VTC was picking up the slack after WorldCoins fund fell short. I don't think the intention of the funraiser was to cover the full $5k, just the shortfall.

Someone has raised the point on the forum http://vertcoinforum.com/index.php?topic=59.0 that Vertcoin doesn't yet have a wikipedia entry. Is there anyone in the community who has a wikipedia user account and could help create an entry? I can help out with wordings if needed.
