so, this an address on my wallet VgkLnyK98vNG7JSN9pQW2VzRBokvNUg9h2
this is my deposit address on cryptsy (still has all the deposited 350 coins inside) Vm14XfhTTMmedSL1QKA9hPGDtnQFPXF7SK
BUT the withdrawal came from here http://bitinfocharts.com/vertcoin/address/VmUoamy2mDP4Binr5gtbt4CArZ5GXymNzD

and like i told before, no way

the other option: a BIG miner with 200+ MH/s

in this case the earnings should correlate with difficulty... but they don't...

in fact when difficulty lowered from 15th to 18th Feb we should have seen an increse of income... but we saw a DECREASE... so looks more like it's BUYING from day-selling miners instead...

another proof-of-whale: i know a group of pumpers tried to pump vertcoin a week ago.
when they tried, suddenly a 30BTC sell wall appeared magically on cryptsy, and they had to stop.
if it isn't manipulation... Roll Eyes

something is boiling hard here. oh yes.

I kind of think it's cryptsy themselves.. i don't know why they would hoard such a big amount, but they have eyes on all the transactions that go through that place.. and can adjust their buy/sell walls accordingly.
I'm thinking they do this to quite a few coins to make a ton more $$$ than just tx fees.

I do not understand why some guys are so sad about VTC/BTC rate, now where is a dumping stage, go get your VTC, they are lying near your feet for two days it was possible to make (without foreknowledge) a 120% in VTC and about 40% in BTC. Simple speculative market, just try to trade. If cannot - hold VTC, wait for pump.

So did I.
BTER is way better anyways. No need for cryptsy anymore.

I don't get how this coin is not worth more than a coin such as Darkcoin. -.- Darkcoin is just rubish...

Both coins are good. Talk more about Maxcoin or Pandacoin that will probably rise. Those ones deserve the bottom, not Dark.

The idea with the big whale looks promising, but
I wouldn't count out that its a huge cold-storage from an exchange, we don't know how exactly they manage their wallets.

What exchange added vertcoin on the 8. feb?

BTER did, we were trying to figure this out last night in IRC on the vertcoin channel.  It's more than possible that it's a Chinese buyer.  We couldnt find similar accounts linked to any other coin with the regular deposits so it doesn't seem like an exchange acccount but rather a personal account that's linked to the exchange.  I think Max coin was added to BTER on the 2/12 but I don't have their blockchain to scrape address balances and transactions to look for a similar account.  I think VTC/CNY is upto over 25% of daily volume which would be more than enough to accumulate vert.

With kimoto it can't be that extreme can it like more than 30% profitable ?
It's like every time price declines, diff adjust in no time and the additional vtc made it up.
My 3Mh/s rig seem to always net 0.08-0.1 btc daily...

That buyer believes in this
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=14450.msg127698#msg127698

Othe claimed to already have cpu-miner utilizing avx instruction set new with sandy bridge and amd bulldozer.
That post also coincided with massive vertical jump of price to break 0.01

In my opinion this post tell me nothing, except another proof? of ASIC resistance, avx implementation - good, but GPU still win the race, nothing changed. And you see 0.00215 in five hours (4.5 hours to eat till 0.00225 and 10 minutes to fell lower).
I still don`t quite get how a huge big BUYER is supposed to crush the price.
BUYER cannot crush, he is buying, so keeping price from fall. Two pages ago was a good prof and calculation, buyer will loose his money with price below 0.004 or so. This mean he has some information which we have not.

With so much VTC, he can put a whole chinese great sell wall to bing the price down.

But ATM, it seems not to be necessary for that low price.
