It means that it's extremely unlikely that price can drop in the near-term. Only way to go is up because demand is much greater than supply at the current price point.

Getting harder to turn a profit at this mining lark.  Difficulty really ramping up now, thanks to those fucktards over at coinchoose.com.  I'd wager it's depressing the price of VTC right now, due to miners with no loyalty to the coin dumping them on the exchanges.  Buying opportunity!
I think they are not taking in account for halved hashrate...

Of course they're not. That would be far too professional for coinchoose. Unfortunately for us miners, that doesn't deter morons from mining & dumping it anyway, in the misguided belief that it's almost twice as profitable as the next coin on the list.

They don't even specify that it's not litecoin scrypt so I bet there are a bunch of people just throwing garbage shares at the pools :p

I was thinking the same thing, in the past 2 days I managed to pick up 1800 VTC for under .003btc, can you imagine what this will be worth in 2 years?  Smiley

plenty much or almost nothing. Wink

Crypto world is way too fast changing to make any prediction ATM.
I've also some, lets hope it's a bet on the right horse.

Another interesting coin may be UTC.
Extreme fast transactions, scrypt-jane (simular to adaptive N-factor) AND Proof of Stake.

I wrote bug report to coinchoose about that, let's see if they fix it
....
I would like to point out that vertcoin, which according to your website seems to be the most profitable coin for few days now, is not regular scrypt coin, but uses different algorithm (Scrypt-Adaptive-Nfactor) and is impossible to mine with regular scrypt miner. This algorithm can gain maximally 50% hashrate of regular scrypt on the same hardware, so please recalculate profitability accordingly.
With kind regards
....

Another bid for 40+ btc.   Big buyers have been stepping up lately. Only  a matter of time before they "assist" in a rise
