We need to attract more attention. We have surpassed WDC's marketcap. Partly due to how awesome we and this coin are and partly because WDC's s*it is all messed up.
Either way I think this coin has a bigger chance of making it out alive and well than most other coins for reasons already stated here. Tho in the cryptoworld that chance may still be pretty low.

Can anyone explain me how is it possible that Auroracoin is on the Moon  ? 50% premine ( Panda died with 3% ) Nothing innovative? regional coin instead of being global? And price nearly 0.06 BTC!! Imagine Vert @ 0.03  |

we shouldn`t make the same mistakes litecoin made if we want to become #2!
we need more merchants, ads, games etc.
everyone has to know that there is an asic resistant awesome coin with huge potential!
vertcoin can make it!
what about a signature for every vertan?

Biggest attack so far, Hoster (OVH) had to pull the plug. Went on until this morning 1 AM.
Vertcoin pool updated and paid out all outstanding coins (had be disabled for security reasons)

Gravitated toward vertcoin after getting burned on the dump-of-the-week coin. GPUcoin has some good ideas but flawed execution, and EXEcoin is trying to find it's place. I have a good feeling vertcoin will survive for quite a while as the premier scrypt-n coin.
