Just got back online. Damnit. and zedcoin? what the hell is zedcoin? picardwtfisthisshit.jpg Anyway, here for the long haul , .78+ BTC poorer quote from mintpal: Zedcoin is still off to a great start. 55 BTC volume in 5 hours. We gotta get on MintPal!!! https://www.mintpal.com/votingThat's the thing, where was zedcoin in voting? Was it even in the top 5? Did they just arbitrarily pick a coin, despite the vote/bribe count? If they're going to just add what they feel like, what's the point? ZED was #1, they had some crazy donations the last days. I think they had over 5BTC donated. They had a bit over 100k votes. We will get added sooner or later. Probably sooner if we keep voting. As MysticDoge said, they have an eye on us but we need to vote our way up to mintpal. We cannot expect to be a wild card. So, please, please keep voting!

Maybe the current KDC coin price is a little disappointed, but we need to start somewhere. If mintpal (and maybe cryptsy) in a later stage is added then i believe our coin price will move up. If everybody support each other and do a little marketing then we can achieve something nice.

Quick question about AltOutlet:
What happens when you buy something ? Does AltOutlet immediately exchange does KDC for BTC at current rates or does it hold it ?

I did some calculations for this and I have no clue how they can reach those prices on Rasberry Pi, If I would sell and include shipping in the same cost It would be 50-60% of their current price and still make a good profit.
Edit: Gonna make a big overhaul of the website and change it up a bit, make it look better, better logos, better checkout and a whole bunch of new products today.
Still up for suggestion on what you guys would want up there.

Sure, yup, we don't immediately convert for BTC, but we do it generally within 24 hours.. At the moment we're only using one exchange for conversions, so we're limited by the buy orders there currently. The way we work out the exchange rate it to average the buy order to a specific volume amount, which allows us to cover larger orders. As the volume is currently quite low for KDC buys, it taking into account the lower buys which drops the average rate. Once the volume goes up, the prices should come down... hope that explains it!

What a surprise AuroraCoin crashed like hell Now the question what is the best scenario? A coin like Klondike that allow people to add coins in a quiet way and that the price is not doing a lot, or like AuroraCoin that some of us would receive big money and other will have huge loses, and nobody will talk about AuroraCoin anymore?

I must admit I was abit taken back by the prices... but I am willing to spend some KDC just to get the wheels moving... although it does concern me that the KDC may be going straight back to CoinedUp and undoing everything we are trying to do because they are simply filling sell orders... I would like to buy some Pi's if someone here wants to do a better deal and I know the KDC will be held instead going straight to the exchange... I would rather do that. To be honest... I am just trying to get KDC to circulate... instead of just swapping KDC to BTC to buy goods and services. Edit - I am not criticizing altoulet, since they have to cover cost and hedge losses... purely making a statement.

The problem is.. a lot of people are treating coins like penny stocks, see: Auroracoin, Pesetacoin, Maxcoin, etc. People throw in loads of currency at it, try and bump the interest in it, and they inevitably crash. Currencies which are more stable, even if they're lower value.. can at least be used as a currency. If there's huge highs and lows in a market, people won't rush to spend them, and will just buy/sell them for quick gains.

As the volume is currently quite low for KDC buys, it taking into account the lower buys which drops the average rate. Once the volume goes up, the prices should come down... hope that explains it! That makes sense We should be able to get listed on Mintpal within a week, this should certainly increase volume, the problem with coinedup is that a lot of people don't want to trade on it. coinmarket.io is down already for a few weeks. So we all believe that with the move to mintpal, people will put some more KDC coins for sale and want to buy some more coins too. You know, my target is still $1 per KDC , you can tell me, damm, you're crazy, but you never know...Klondike coin is a new coin, only on the market for 2 months, marketing is just started, and maybe there are some ideas to give away real gold to miners, this can certainly be interesting for low hashrate miners. We don't need 1 miner with 100Mh/s, we need 1000 miners with 100Kh/s.

Edit - I am not criticizing altoulet, since they have to cover cost and hedge losses... purely making a statement. Sure, it's understandable.. particularly if you switch prices to say, doge and BTC which generally have more buy orders so the prices are more stable... I'll take a look at the logic over the weekend and see if I can come up with a better method of calculating rates. Also once the other exchanges get added, this should be less of a problem. The main issue for retailers of course is to actually be able to buy/pay for products at the end of the day, and without Fiat.. or without suppliers who can accept KDC.. that gets a little tricky But anyways, always welcome the feedback.
