To those mining Sha256 on DigiHash.co, please confirm you have received your payouts. Someone was mining with a malformed username string that tripped up the payout system (maybe intentionally or maybe not). There was a backlog of 286K DGB which has now been paid out and we have updated the payout worker to check and better validate user names. The other three algos have been paying out as expected.

A note to the new people here, we have been working on the DigiByte protocol, wallets, and services for over three years now. As mentioned many, many times we are in this for the long haul.  Coming here and bringing toxicity, negative attitudes and insults does not do anyone any good. While we try to follow this thread daily we are not glued to it 24/7.  If we did, we would not get anything done.

Remember we have many social media channels to keep on top of, and more often than not the quickest way to get ahold of us now is on the Telgram chat.

I have to mostly agree. I'll never cheat someone their just due. The problem is that, to date, DGB has never fully capitalized on any of it's improvements, and time is running very short since there are now dozens of cryptos that can say the same and that are already taking their market share, and there may be nothing left for DGB. DGB could end up being one of those fantastic ideas whose day never came. That's not so unusual either. It happens a lot.

I discover Digibyte couple months ago and followed since.
I installed the wallet yesterday, blockchain download completed this afternoon.
Very interesting coin with BTC struggling ATM.
I fired up a S7-LN and pointed it to your pool 10min ago.
I think I will mine and hold some Digi for a while

I am GLAD to say that DGB coins in my wallet, that everything goes fine at the end.

I wish next time, when it happens, you will Fix everything after first post about this problem or better found it by yourself. I wish that this situation makes this Project better.

Digibyte desktop wallet is taking days to load the blockchain and will take days more. And if I close and restart it, it doesnt save the blockchain and starts again from day zero.

Is there a quick way to restore it to an online wallet ? I dont want to have to download all the blockchain, it is not working.

Or can I send the coins to an exchange without having to load the blockchain ?

Any help welcome, can pay bounty for whoever helps

Mine took near 16 hrs to download the entire blockchain ,if your not patient send it to a exchange that should be quick

Well DGB is Hong Kong based, but it is more a way of trying to also appeal to possible Chinese readers as well. Even if it was purely a Chinese project, why would that be reason to not look into it? I think Chinese projects specifically for that reason might be undervalued (looking at Antshares for instance). They fly under the rader because people don't want to put in the effort to do further research if it's not easy to find.
