Lots of people are asking why Digibyte is so popular. I personally believe it is because the development team has been working on digibyte for more than 3 years now and the technology behind the coin has been getting better and better. Digibyte isn't only a cryptocurrency that copies other currencies, but it has been developing its own technology and helping other currencies rather than competing. On top of this, it has not been trying to cause hype around digibyte and therefore a lot of people have never heard of digibyte before. To us, the people who have held the currency since the beginning, it has always been more or less clear that the currency was highly undervalued and is still. That being said, the current reason for the popularity is that we are getting many new owners on board and the distribution of the currency is getting larger. This is because people are realizing the potential digibyte has and also partly because people are mistaking digibyte for a coin that can be earned by playing games. Yes that part was true, but currently it is on hold, and there isn't really any reason to enable it now that the currency has finally gained wider spread, which was the original purpose of the gaming thing. The real potential in digibyte rests in the developmental team who have made digibyte what it is today and will most likely keep on making it better.

This is just the way I see it. But I thought that people might want to hear why someone has put all his crypto investments in digibyte and held even when it was 20 sat worth. I also encourage other long time investors to tell what they think.

I don't see any reason why DGB is rising that much. Maybe its a good coin and was undervalued when it had 10M market cap, but what I now see in volumes is really suspicious. Each day 12-20% of market cap is traded on Polo for the last two weeks. Stratis is rising these days as well and has only 2.5-4.5% traded daily, Ethereum daily trading volumes are also about 3-4% of the market cap. When GameCredits was rising (before MobileGo ICO), it had 5-8% of market cap traded daily. Daily trading volumes 12-20% of market cap are unbelievably high and may be a sign of huge price manipulation.

DGB is still undervalued FYI,you better jump on this ship if you like yourself.

I think that reply was a bit unasked for. However, the reason digibyte is faster is not because it is not used as much, it is because of the algorithm which can take 40x more transactions per second and which is still getting faster, not slower.

That's a massive profit, this is a market, well done for holding. You could also buy back at 1000 if you are still DGB smitten.

Thanks for advice, bought at 500 sold at 1300, now it's 1400 but I think this is a huge pump so I'll buy back after the crazy trends is over !

My last post said it can top out at 2500, I sold below 800 but made a fortune. No one can predict the future or I would be holding still.

Jared must of been organising investor groups who will be using dgb in the future and buying up as much as possible on Poloniex. HR involved?

Alternatively this is one of the best pumps in the history of Crypto. Technically this coin has only copied bitcoin but it might be the fast block times that people are interested in.

100 sats? I got in a long time ago and bought the majority of mine at 26 sats or less. Plus I mined a crap load of them early on.

And I have never sold any. I set a price target a long time ago and sticking to it. If I sold now I would make a shit ton of money but my goal is a super shit ton of money. If I sold and it kept going up and missed out on my retirement fund I would never forgive myself. If I miss this shit ton of money I can live with that.

Nope. DGB is a great coin and the devs target is $1 to $10 per coin. My personal target is $1 per coin or more. Won't sell any until gets to that value. If it never does I least I won't regret trying. My goal is enough money to never work again. Anything less not worth selling.
