Hey guys, Been a bit busy but as promised I made a wikipedia article for DigiByte. It's not huge and certainly not comprehensive but having seen so many people asking if DGB is a scam or if it's 'real' I thought it would be prudent to make as good an article as I possibly could for you guys. If any of you long term community members could check it out and possible make additions (or even corrections where necessary) that'd be awesome. I urge you all to be careful though, it is a wikipedia article not an advertisement. If you feel conflicted in any way do not add to the post and always be unbias and CITE everything you can. Any sort of bias or advertisement on there will do far more harm than good, so be honest and respectful if you change anything! Remember it's about information, the good the bad and the ugly, not about trying to get people to buy your stuff. Anyway I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and congratulations to you all on a fantastic moon mission today. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DigibytePS: I just formally saved the page about 10minutes before I typed this message but I have to sleep. I hope it is not removed due to some wikipedia technicality but if it does happen to be removed while I sleep I will find out why and make the necessary corrections. If it's gone when you search for it that may be why! Coinomi android wallet with shapeshift integration. Currently DGB is buggy due to segwit activation, I think.

I dont think we are even at fair value......to me its still below market value......10 cents seems fair.......but this market tend to eventually overshoot.....so 12 cents in a month would not suprise me.......I will sell a little on the path to 10 cents....but have to save some in case.....wouldnt want to have nothing to sell at 75 cents or a buck.....

This is a special thanks to Jared, DigiByte and the community. I was around from the first day of DigiByte, where I came to translate DGB thread to another language. From then on, I traded DGB back and forth starting with 0.625 BTC worth DGB, which was awarded from translation. Once in a while I made 75BTC with DGB alone. Later I lost some. That was my biggest lesson. Then I learnt to sell anything when the time is right. You cannot just be tied to a coin even if you love it, where you can buy it back lower, at times (not the case when it is popular). This was mostly my strategy and the source of my success. I had 373m DGB back in the last rise. I sold 315m DGB between 450-760sat and selling some slowly at this current rise. I know DGB can go really high. I love DGB and thanks to Jared, I am a millionaire now. I was buying DGB at 6sat to 30sat and people at polo trollbox was making fun of me and it is now really feeling great seeing them rekt with DGB rise and they totally missed it out. Well, Jared, many thanks again. I will still be around to watch your success. And let me know if any crowd funding is needed for the sake of DGB. Cheers up. Best, Halinyo Nicely done! Thanks for not completely destroying the market and price on your way out lol, there has been some big dumps these past few days but people have been buying it up as fast as it was dumped. No worries, I am a pro trader. Just today I sold 5m DGB without you guys feeling it in the market Cheers.

Ok so to clerify. I have the iPhone Wallet Version v1.6
This wallet was defective and is to this day unable to sync to the blockchain. This was the wallet that was available on the iTunes store at the time released officially by Digibyte. I downloaded said wallet and sent approx 3 million digibyte to it. I have the recovery phrase for it but since this wallet was defective and was never able to sync to the blockchain I don't know how using that recovery phrase would work with a newer wallet. How do I get my Digibyte off of that wallet? I wrote down the recovery phrase like I was supposed to. Please send me a message or reply here. Thank you!
PM Digibyte. Apple removed the IOS wallet but Jared can still recover your Digibytes from it. If you want a quicker response, jump on Telegram and post or PM him there.

cgminer.exe with skein algo doesn't work on Windows 10 with RX 480 and latest Crimson 17.5.1. No error message at all, it just closes and gives this error in the event log: Faulting application name: cgminer.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x530a6261 Faulting module name: amdocl.dll, version: 22.19.162.4, time stamp: 0x58fea672 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x001fc5c6 Faulting process id: 0x1374 Faulting application start time: 0x01d2da74096db9c3 Faulting application path: C:\Users\nitrous\Desktop\MultiPoolMinerV2.5.2\Bin\AMD-Reorder\cgminer.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\c0313676.inf_amd64_96bbc33bec5c7fae\amdocl.dll Report Id: 54628b3f-5548-4bd5-911a-4007e3b0a540 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: The command line is "--api-listen --skein -o stratum+ssl://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17016 -u user -p x --gpu-threads 2 --worksize 64 --intensity 11" but it crashes even without a command line and on a clean download of this file (taken from miningpoolhub's page). Reinstalled all versions of Crimson drivers and removed the old ones using DDU, but still the same error. What's happening?

Just for your info also, I have 8gh of my farm pointed at DGB and have always mined it with something, the price staying here = me making maximum profit.
My miners are producing the same net USD equivalent now as before. Great posts regarding reasonable expectations BTW. Cheers

I am thinking of buying some DGB but I think maybe it is too late and is too high now? What is the selling point for DGB and why should I invest in it and what are your predictions say a year from now? I want to invest but want to know best reasons and predictions for those of you who are DGB hardcore fans. Thanks in advance..

@Jared and devs: Any plans to get this onto Lykke? Right now there's SolarCoin and ChronoBank on it, and it's a really nice and easy platform to use where one can easily use fiat (SWIFT or credit card) to purchase the cryptocurrencies on it.

I bought couple of days again when I saw volume is increasing continuously as it is biggest sign of stability is value of any market. Now I am holding because it will keep growing without any problem. After first sudden increase it went under correction now that isn't the case anymore. I am happy that I jumped in this boat on time.

Lots of people are asking why Digibyte is so popular. I personally believe it is because the development team has been working on digibyte for more than 3 years now and the technology behind the coin has been getting better and better. Digibyte isn't only a cryptocurrency that copies other currencies, but it has been developing its own technology and helping other currencies rather than competing. On top of this, it has not been trying to cause hype around digibyte and therefore a lot of people have never heard of digibyte before. To us, the people who have held the currency since the beginning, it has always been more or less clear that the currency was highly undervalued and is still. That being said, the current reason for the popularity is that we are getting many new owners on board and the distribution of the currency is getting larger. This is because people are realizing the potential digibyte has and also partly because people are mistaking digibyte for a coin that can be earned by playing games. Yes that part was true, but currently it is on hold, and there isn't really any reason to enable it now that the currency has finally gained wider spread, which was the original purpose of the gaming thing. The real potential in digibyte rests in the developmental team who have made digibyte what it is today and will most likely keep on making it better.
This is just the way I see it. But I thought that people might want to hear why someone has put all his crypto investments in digibyte and held even when it was 20 sat worth. I also encourage other long time investors to tell what they think.
But that's basically what everyone says about their coin. DGB has 21 billion total amount and it was at 17 satoshi in februar. It's now more than hundred times that price. I still have no clue what the actual plus is in this coin as for the market value. Don't get me wrong, I am just trying to learn to understand the crypto market and why certain coins are pumped nonstop and others creep around and don't seem to move at all. How does one know if a coin is promising and another is not? If one would have put $1000 into DGB in februar, they could now leave the boat with $100,000 - but who would have guessed that this coin rises so much and why?
