Does anyone know anything about this? Does Digibyte even make a chance?

Refer to the links if you want to know about it.  Digibyte is a finalist and there are multiple awards.  There are a lot of finalists but it is getting it name out there regardless of the result.

100%

Totally agree. Chances of winning a prize don't seem to be overly high but that's not the only thing on offer. If you go through the competition documents there are a lot of big names attending. I'd expect something to come out of that at some level.

Using groestl algo im getting 70 MH/S using a gtx 1070 gigabyte g1. Is this the average MH/s for a 1070 right now?
yes as i am using a 1080 that averages about 105mhs

version of miner ?  settings ?
cc miner 2.0   -  81MH/S on   gtx1080      502MH/S on  6x1080

ccminer 2.0 May 14th 2017 release.

No special settings, slight OC but doesn't add all that much, without OC it sits about about 100mhs. also run at -i 20.....

How much DGB do you mine with one 1080 per day roughly? Is groestl best algo for now?

Are there any lite/web wallets available for Digibyte? Looks like the Android wallet isn't available in United States. I want to have some DGB on hand in preparation for the launch of the Minecraft server, but I don't want to have to download some gigabytes worth of blockchain to do so.

Hello old friends! It's good to see that DGB is still going strong.

Does anybody have updated nodes list? My wallet isn't connecting to default nodes in new wallet. Would really appreciate it if someone could provide me with the list.

Did anyone hear of XVG Verge trading on Bittrex.  The word is that the dev tem will add rsk smart contracts to it like eth, except verge is completely untraceable. I owned this coin for a very long time could  it be close to eth? also chart is looking just like dgb, it just didnt hit the highs yet but it started rolling.

Why should we be exited?
Because Jared did a speech with 100 other companies?

I do not see how this will gain momentum today or tomorrow.
We will hear nothing about this at all and DGB will go under 2000 satoshi and sit there for weeks/months, without any REAL news!

I don't think anyone really said there would be any solid news out of this today/tomorrow. No need to be so negative about it  Wink There is one more round of presentations to go anyway.

However, participation in events such as this is a big positive for DigiByte. It spreads awareness and greatly increases the potential for real world applications.

another newbie "know it all" scrub to add to the block list lol. When fudders come out to play on newbie accounts good time's are coming... History has a habit of repeating itself lol.
Also amazing that they think that anyone actually cares or takes what they say seriously lol.

I haven't read/seen anything about a deal with Microsoft. A Digibyte server will launch tomorrow:

Quote
The Minecraft DigiByte server will be housed at Mine That Digi and it’ll be launched on the 10th of June, 2017. That’ll coincide with the event taking place on the 9th with Citi.

The reason this Minecraft announcement has caught on in the crypto-hype market is its perfect timing with the two events mentioned above. Minecraft Marketplace with Minecraft Coins launched this week on Bedrock Platforms, and DigiByte (official) is going to make a presentation at a Citi event.

These sock puppets are hilarious. Someone really got burnt by selling too soon and is spending a lot of time on all this fud. Certainly no one in this thread said anything of the sort about today's event.

Jared and the team did really well to make it to the finals. My hat is off to them!  Here's hoping when it's all done they come out of it with a prize to top it all off  Cheesy
