Sorry for the question, pretty sure it has been allready asked and answered, but i can't go through 1800 pages, lol.

Is there allready a sheduled time for the algo changes other than just summer? Which algos are going to be removed and
are they replaced by others or just that, being removed?

Thx in advance for the answer.

I keep buying and investing in DGB - long time now, All I could advice is as long as you can afford to hold your "money investment" there is nothing to worry about - The market right now, is playing games, "dirty games" not just whales involved but great preasure from "media" - So my plan is to hold and keep helping the "Development of DigiByte and other on-going projects" - You can either contribute and do anything to support your investment, or relax - rest, njoy your life and forget about it for some time from now  Wink

I love to read Josiah’s updates, always a pleasure to see rational wise head on young shoulders putting things into perspective. When it comes to the ‘Crypto-sphere’, the general media is not interested unless ‘Fear Of Missing Out’ is captivating their subscribers curiosity. Frankly, that means when prices are rising not falling…..yet when they are falling; this is the time….When everyone with a grasp for this technology is hovering over their buy buttons, waiting for critical dips for replenishment of the assets they believe to be sound!

When it comes to media, maybe they like to set their subscribers up, because they have a tendency of exposing markets at the exact worse time to buy every time!

Normally, marketing matters…or somebody runs off with your idea or does it better!

The only thing is….Nobody can or is willing to do DigiByte better, because DigiByte’s objective is not to profit out of you but to actively empower you……so if someone wants to do it better and I mean actually better, great that can only be a good thing……but failing that, everyone will eventually come round to DigiByte because it is simply the BEST option for human beings!

i totaly agree. i also apreciate his posts on tweeter. They're measured, positives & instructives (not impulsives).  he's ready to debate anytime with a dgb's "opponent". In short, he's a perfect ambassador for Digibyte and i'm sure he's gonna get even better with time Wink

I've been running workshops at my work to help complete beginners get into crypto. Part of what I do is to get people to send Digibyte to each other through the Exodus wallet so they get used to sending and receiving. I'm very impressed with the speed of transactions and my students are enjoying sending coins to each other at work. As a year long hodler of digibyte its a good feeling to get them out of my wallet and doing something useful.

Hey guys, I've upgraded the payment server and now cointippy processes digibyte payments every ~2-3 minutes instead of every ~10-15 minutes Smiley

Are there any news on the Algo Swap?

I think DGB should have its own algorithm for GPU with ASIC protection.

It is already known that NASDAQ is one of those large influential companies that having its eye on crypto. Now it is suggesting people to take a look at DGB which is very impressive. I can see Mr. Tate as the Macron in crypto.  Wink

i’ve been thinking the same, it should be nice. And until more coins use this same new algo or Digibyte gets more value & attention, it will make Digibyte even more asic resistant. Smiley

Does it still make up for the mining? For with this difficulty, only with a very large hash power to make a profit from mining, do not you agree?

You will never bring DigiByte down with a 'hardware' fault.

Well, i have one scrypt miner, a L3+ wich i have for months at digibyte now, but it really sucks... I better use it as a doorstop, or mine other coins...

Which did you imply in your thread by saying about 'a hardwar fault'?
Could you explain more about this idea?
