There were too many hiccups on the development side. The fork is taking forever to happen now. I understand that the team is trying their best to excel on the code but it wasn't fast enough to keep up with newer projects, which took over the attention from the crypto space.

Now DGB has to fight back basically as a newcomer.

This space is still way way young and I been around it a long time enough to know this, stick with proven coins with strong communities and active development. Every project does things different or builds on each other but coins that been around awhile are never old Tech to turn our backs on.

I have a feeling, DGB will have its moment, why I tend to mine up for it now and then and save back. Price dips are just apart of the space, BTC goes up, fluctuation on smaller cap coins and rinse and repeat. This coin I have less worries of in my portfolio....but the key is to only back what you feel right about, how you survive in this game

I meant "technology" in the sense of adapting to its use-case. I think Bitcoin SHA-256 POW is good for international - payment and as store of value, but for games (on which DGB is focused on) etc there are many way more suitable algorithms.
