There were too many hiccups on the development side. The fork is taking forever to happen now. I understand that the team is trying their best to excel on the code but it wasn't fast enough to keep up with newer projects, which took over the attention from the crypto space. Now DGB has to fight back basically as a newcomer.

i notice dgb/btc is in a big triangle sins january 2018 and will go slowly lower or sideways till September or October
then also on monthly time frame the stochastic rsi gonna finish in the lower region and make a golden cross, will also not happen before September if you compare to previous bull run
rsi is already in the lower side so price will more go sideways then down i guess
if short term price goes up it will probably stop at the triangle resistance around 285-220 region depend when it get there

I think Digibyte is not good coin as it has outdated technology behind it There is no such thing as outdated tech here in CRYPTO!!! That's blasphemy lol...jk. Nah being real here, DGB is just a different kind of Crypto in a sea of Crypto's. This space is still way way young and I been around it a long time enough to know this, stick with proven coins with strong communities and active development. Every project does things different or builds on each other but coins that been around awhile are never old Tech to turn our backs on. I have a feeling, DGB will have its moment, why I tend to mine up for it now and then and save back. Price dips are just apart of the space, BTC goes up, fluctuation on smaller cap coins and rinse and repeat. This coin I have less worries of in my portfolio....but the key is to only back what you feel right about, how you survive in this game I meant "technology" in the sense of adapting to its use-case. I think Bitcoin SHA-256 POW is good for international - payment and as store of value, but for games (on which DGB is focused on) etc there are many way more suitable algorithms. I think DGB won't have its time fundamentally (at most only speculatively)

Timing the market is very difficult. Buying now and selling during the bull run is safer than waiting until you think the bottom's in.

I use Digibyte's Android wallet but one of my largest deposits from around 6 weeks ago has gone missing.
I tried to recover my wallet, and it's now synced up to today's date, but that deposit which represented about 1/4 of all of my crypto assets is not reappearing.
I looked at Google Play store comments, and despite a 4.5 star rating, people are writing many comments about DBG gone missing in their wallets. I now feel like a real sucker. What's going on?

First off, thank you for supporting DigiByte. As you know, the DGB blockchain was hard forked on July 21st to replace the myr-groestl algo with the new Odocrypt mining algo as 1 of DGB's 5 mining algorithms. This hard fork was a mandatory update for all DGB full nodes and supported wallets. The devs quickly released an update for the iOS and Android DGB mobile wallets to fix a sync issue post-fork. If you have not updated yet, make sure you have updated your mobile wallet to the latest version if you are having any issues. Second, if you are still having issues, make sure you have written down and recorded your 12 world wallet seed phrase. Then go into settings -> and click "sync blockchain". This will resync your wallet and should fix any issues you are having. There is a chance you may have to do this 2-3 times if you get a bad peer (aka a peer not yet upgraded to 7.17.2.). This will be less of a problem as the old chain dies out. Let us know how else we can help. We are very excited about the future of DigiByte!

i test the android wallet 6 month ago and yes i was also disapoited that wallet was buggy it never show up the full balance , and when i move the coins out i had to do it 4 times resync the wallet and send some coins what show up and repeat till i was able to get all the coins out the wallet so i hope future mobile wallet will work better and the windows qt wallet works fine but i think it use a bit to much memory (2.4gb) others good wallets use less than 1gb, bitcoin qt for example use less than 200mb and for rrrrossb also make sure that it's in your wallet, because also possible you accidentally send it somewhere else so check your balance in the explorer
