When do you guys expect to have the Digibyte exchange up and running?

I think this will make it easier for people to purchase DGB, and coupled with the other developments should increase the price quite a bit.

We are still several months away from this. The licensing and legal requirements are very complex and not very well defined at the moment. We are looking into several other options as well including "pre-paid" DigiByte cards through an existing bank.

Have you looked into licensing your exchange company in some other country where the requirements might be lighter? I think microCoin guys are going to register theirs on Estonia.

OK, first results here.
Started mining on digiforce.cc, 24.02.2012 - around 10:13. This pool has 0% fee, I was donating 0.5%. This pool gives 100 DGB for finding a block.
My hash force 26-29 MHs, as sometimes miners restart when GPU dies.
Switched back to http://ca.p2pool.sk:9022 today, 27.02.2012, around 11:30.

I checked my wallet for received transactions, and can confirm 1145759.612 DGB receiver.
That is around 381000/24hours.

Lets see how much I will make in same amount of time on a p2pool.

with this formula and assuming you have 27.5 MHs, and avg diff was roughly 10.5 during last 3 days you should teoretically get:
8000/(10.5*2^32/27500000/3600/24) = 421489 DGB daily,
DigiForce has about 99% efficiency, 2.5% orphans, finds blocks for 104% shares, and also your 0.5% donation.
This should add up roughly to the number you are getting.

I am trying to keep the pool effective, so i think this is as good as you can get with MPOS pool implementation.
Now i am eager to see you p2p results.

I have very many millions of coins and I am holding them.  If that says anything in my personal faith for Digibyte.  I recommend people hold, and continue to buy.  This will also cause the market price to continue to raise in the meantime.
