Digibyte is a fail I think. It's so sad !

I will go to Saturncoin because it is very cheap and I think I will earn money very fast. 0.00000003 sat.
Saturn can go easily to 0.00000050 in 2-3 weeks. More than 10 time your bet

You cannot compare Digibyte and Saturncoin. Digibyte devs proved their ability and innovation with Digishield. Saturncoin devs are just another bunch of idiots with no computer knowledge copying coins like most are nowadays.

ughh what ? lol

load of bs.

FUD first & ask questions later™

Some people love him, some people say he is not "professional"  and we should get rid of him and some people say we need "DigiWoman" and a "DigiFamily."

What are your thoughts?

Would it be a good idea to have something like this for DGB?

Probably not. The word Ponzi has a very negative connotation. Literally looks like a literal transparent ponzi though.

It kind of reminds me of the LifeLock mascot (http://www.lifelock.com/how-it-works/); not visually, but conceptually. I don't mind either way. He's a mascot for the coin, just like the Shiba Inu is for DOGE. Of course, cute furry animals win over most people. I'm not a marketing professional by trade, but just provided my own opinion. If you were to continue, I guess it would be best to put together a theme, back story, or some kind of meaning to the mascot. A family or female digibot may play into that somehow. But, I wouldn't think you would want to continue investing in digibot variants without some sore of overall purpose or theme that ties them into what makes this coin unique or crypto-currency in general.

Love the ideas and foundation behind DGB, hence why I have been holding since around 140sat!

However, half of this thread is mining pool spam. Please put a stop to it, it makes it harder to read through proper discussion!!!

I don't see the problem unless the same pool is posting multiple times per page. I makes it easy for people new to the coin to find an active pool. It also keeps the thread bumped at the top of the listings, helping the community appear active, and therefor attracting more interest.

But as a pool owner, my opinion maybe biased...
We agree with this.

BitcoinTalk is still the main source of new people coming into the crypto world. Having the thread bumped to the top often does drive new users to DigiByte.

As long as mining pools are not posting their add several times on each page we do not see a problem with this. It also lets us know which pools are trully supporting DigiByte and are active in the community.

It helps show an active community.

Having said that, BlazingHashes has posted the same post 24 times out of a total of 26 of their total posts! Now that to me is spam, and cluttering up this thread.
They add nothing to this thread apart from bumping it to the top, and promoting their pool to line their pockets. Details are in OP anyway.

Thank you for the feedback.  Having the DigiMan for helping to bring in and educate new people about crypto technology we feel is going to be the best approach for him.

Honestly, these pyramid scheme so-called "gambling site" are a scam and only the site owner is real winner.
They start at a low amount, and rely on Person B buying the lot from Person A  (note: site owner does not have to make the any investment) and the unlucky Person X loses his entire amount (which can be rather large) and the site eats that amount. Honestly the hosting and w/e costs nothing compared to just taking lots over a period of a month.

The developers of Digibyte will do an AMA with focus on the importance of Cryptocurrencies, this Friday the 21th at 11 pm GMT

The term AMA is short for Ask Me Anything. The thread will be posted at /r/AMA by /u/digibytedev, and also crossposted here as well as other relevant subs. We look forward to introducing cryptocurrency as a whole to people who haven't heard about it before.
Make sure to spread the word and prepare some questions! Also please suggest relevant subreddits we could post to!

Except that in this case it doesn't look like a pyramid scheme. Max loss per person is 50,000 doge.

And site owner makes money if he suddenly refuse to pay. Or he place money into the pot as well to get the 20%. For him it is risk free.
