I bought some DGB around 85 satoshi the day it launched on Cryptsy. I realise most coins don't do very well during the next few weeks after it's listed on Cryptsy. But it seems to me the only direction DGB is currently going is down. In fact, I have started wondering if I will ever see DGB going back to the level I bought in at, let alone making profits on my investment. I do not want to sell for a loss and go invest in something else because I really had thought DGB could make a difference in the cryptocurrency world, but I must admit, I become more pessimistic each day.

Any strong DGB believers here who can explain to me WHY and how they think DGB is indeed going to go up? If at all possible, I would like to here rational arguments instead of wishful thinking aimed at restoring faith.

Its like any other investment, noone has a crystal ball that can for 100% tell when and what will happen.
Sorry, this is just how the market works.
I see why you are concerned, current price going down/be low. I also have some DGB in my wallet and waiting for them to gain popularity and $$ value. Patience is the key, in my opinion. Look at BTC/LTC markets, how did they do last year this time.
DGB has strong support / dev community, good ideas and even some progressive technologies which helped also DOGE after being implemented.

I would say see it as investment. And as any investment, rule of thumb play only with money you can afford to loose.
Maybe in one years time we will be seeing DGB at 2$/DGB, maybe it will be only 0.00000002/DGB.
Noone knows.

low hash is more of a reason to worry, not less. Imagine if supporters of other coins purchased a number of scrypt asics & went around attacking other coins with 51% attack with the purpose of killing them off. The threat is there if KnC gets anywhere near their estimated performance. My view might be seen as a bit tin foil hat material, but given the number of hacks/scams out there I think there are surely a few people who have the will & skill required to exploit such technology in order to kill off competition to the coins they personally hold.
