Hopefully still on track for tomorrow? Been so many "we'll be releasing it by xxx date" type announcements over the past few weeks that it's kind of hard to be properly excited. Not trying to be negative...  just really really want this coin to succeed and am really looking forward to mining it again from tomorrow....  if the release really happens this time.  Got lots of Scrypt and SHA hash to throw at it so bring it on!

I wonder... will there be a pool set up already to start mining immediately from tomorrow or is it going to be kind of a soft-launch with a couple more weeks allowed to get the current pools updated?

If possible I will try to have a p2pool node set up and running as soon as possible after the update.
Does anyone know exact time when the new code will be released ?

That would be awesome...  I far prefer P2Pool for mining...

Slovakia. And other node would be in US. Check my signature.

Ah right, missed that.  Should be decent latency from London. I currently use nodes in France and Switzerland.

Digibyte was #5 highest traded crypto at Mintpal 24 hrs ago! Pretty sweet to see folks purchasing. Will be very interesting to see how things turn out in the next few weeks with the new implementation.

Kind Regards,
YC

No way. These dumpers will kill every effort to bring price back at least to 100.

Yeah, the dumpers will inhibit it at first. But once they're gone it should be a steady climb.

DGB is my and the future's coin of choice! Don't cry if you don't invest Wink

It will be much later today. We are testing the seed servers and a few other things. We will post links to the download & advertise it on here as well as Twitter /Facebook. Also the Mac wallet is giving us some issues.

Thank you all for your patience. Once we release the update we are planning on roughly two weeks time to allow all the exchanges & mining pools to update so we have a smooth transition.

Multi-algo mining will kick in @ block 145,000. Which is about 3600 blocks from now. Based upon mining data from the last three months this could take 1-3 weeks to occur depending on how much hash is thrown at the network.

Once we have confirmation all the exchanges, block explorers & mining pools have updated we don't mind renting an ASIC to speed things up. But we also want to make sure someone does not throw an ASIC at the network right away and cause an un smooth hard fork.

Also on a side note it appears Alt Explorer is displaying the wrong block count. After checking multiple dns seed servers we are currently at DGB block 141404.

Dumpers can only create resistance for while but not the long term growth.
