This would be massive if they catered to US bank accounts. One of the biggest pains about Coinbase is the 5 business delay for larger deposits.

So many dumpers on the exchanges. Expect major buys when the price hits 20. The rebound should come slowly afterward. Ill take all the cheap coins in the meantime!

Wow, I was going to ask if anyone knew how to buy BTC in Europe with fiat, and https://www.litebit.eu/en/ looks really interesting. Now, I've got to take a closer look. Don't have much time this weekend, but I'll have to make some time because I really want to get aggressively on the buy side of all that dumping!

I finally got around to doing a 24 hour analysis comparing the block find numbers between algos (much easier that I thought due to some block explorer features I was overlooking).

Groest........541
Qubit..........556
Scrypt.........177
SHA-256.....515
Skein..........572

Total blocks found 2361.

If we add the averaged 369 blocks that scrypt should also be finding to that total, we’d we looking at a total of 2730, which would be very close to theoretical.

I’m not at all sure about what could be causing this, but with the issue having to do with scrypt, and with scrypt being the “old” algo, my first inclination is to ask if active “old” wallets, or previously configured and still not updated pool servers, or exchanges, or the like, might not be causing this.

Huh

It because of the multipool mining scrypt, they put the difficulty so high that it take hours to generate a block when they leave.

So renting some scrypt mining will help this issue?

Why ? I'm telling you Smiley

srcxxx uses NOMP backend, this backend uses "sendtomany" command to reward the miners. This command is not fully operationnel, there are errors. https://github.com/zone117x/node-open-mining-portal/blob/master/libs/paymentProcessor.js#L384
In payout process, if the error code is -6 (ie "Not enough funds to cover the tx fees"), tx fees are increased until command is accepted by the wallet.

I'm using the same backend, but I had to modify the payout process, to be compatible with the Digibyte wallet and not decrease the proportional rewards.

I think than srcxxx don't apply tx fees (I hope, but I'm not 100% sure).

Interesting, looks solid. In the end im on your pool now. It is very nice. Where your EU Server location? OVH in France? Nice performance!

No response from srcxxx,

Yeah, with his kind of "transparency" and data reporting:

"You need to understand that daily profits will be different each day.
There is a fee that pool operator takes and it is undisclosed currently. Our pool likes to keep things simple.

Q: Why is my hashrate so low? I used to have 16.7MH/s on R9 290 and now I have like 930KH/s
A: That is normal. Because boostpool can switch netween different algorithms, you would be getting different hashrate otherwise (depending on current algo). So it was decided to scale the hashrate to be consistent. So grs-sgminer shows hashrate similar to Scrypt hashrate on the same equipment."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770959

It's sooooo much easier to scam.  Cheesy

No the only thing to do is use this coin, buy some reel things with it. If we can use it, people will buy it more and more... and more and more merchants will accept it...

If we reduce total supply and block reward, yes for the short term the price could stay stable but who will buy DGB and for what... on the long run nobody will buy it. The problem will be the same for the next month if we do that..

DigiByte need to be a reel currency and not a support for speculation...
