I didn't get it to work, but your luck may vary.

I tried running three on the recommended Orico USB hub (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EH44AA6/ref=oh_details_o07_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and still have problems if I ever run more than two at a time on the same hub.

I've ordered an Anker 9 port hub that has a lot of power, maybe that will do better.

I'm having no issues running 10 on the recommeded Orico.

Thank you

Are you using a batch file or the DualMiner SW?  If a batch file, what does it look like?

P.S. I am using these to mine Dogecoin on DogeHouse, maybe you are using them as intended (on Litecoin) and that is the diff? Seems unlikely to me, algo is identical, but who knows.

No, just using the dualminer software and I've tried on multiple pools with no issue.  Will report back on solo when I get home.

What causes the miners to go idle and show as Enabled N?

swarm on LTC Rabbit today.
The shout box.  If you post in it about asic scrypt miners he says that is what they are doing.

Oh well, if they do that, we need an update to cgminer or sgminer or something. And that will only remain true for litecoin unless the other coins follow. I've also read about the main author welcoming ASICs since that's one way for mature coins to remain secure.

Otherwise, someone out there will make an ASIC and not announce it, so they keep all the profits to themselves or they get a very large percentage of the network hash power and cause the rest of us problems.

I have heard what you stated as well from a main author.  I guess it is all FUD for now.
The DM runs doge great so far as well as LTC.
Should be good to go no matter what.
Now I just have to save to get a few more of these.  Undecided

The ASICs are out. It's too late to change the proof of work algo for existing coins without having some sort of detrimental effect on security or stability. In which case, it would be a good time to buy cheap coins.

This year will see a couple more ASICs, and a few more after that.

More to come

nicely done cruzcoins....i got 21  on an Asicminer 49 port HUB, hashing at just shy of 1.4MH/s.....going to put 9 more on the hub later to see....Dogecoins no problem on Fast-pool.....

ps, anyone else mining dogecoin, and if so on what pool? Fast-pool is pretty good but it doesn't seem to reflect the proper hash rate of the miners...sometimes it does, and at other times it doesn't....

I've received my batch! I set up 4 of them to test... i've been running into issues:

First Issue:
Steps:
1) Installed Software
1) Changed to LTC only
2) Entered pool information
3) Switched the dip switch to LTC (L or T)

Result:
No hash rate what-so-ever. LTC stats showed 0.000 mh/s, same with cgminer.

Solution:
set the param: --dualminer-pll 800

moving onto the second issue...

Second Issue:
Hardware Errors...
I let the USB miners run for aprox 2-3 hours with a fan on them to keep cool... I'm getting Hardware Errors! Does anybody know what this is about?

I have posted more information regarding the hardware errors here: http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1x9777/dualminer_usb_hardware_errors/

All USB asics get HW errors, 388 each on a row of 6 in 6days runnin.
Some are real (affect shift) most are fake and should be ignored.
5 errors in 2500 good accepts is not bad.
CPU and GPU I had no errors ever.
USB well they all do that, it is when 1 shows way more than the others, or like 200 in the first few mins, ya got a problem. usually lack of power to hub or incompatible hub. None of the USB stuff like USB 3.0 specs much.
They all adhere to USB 1.1 and 2.0 using 1.1 speeds to talk to bus.
