03/21/2014 Case study DM2 vs. Radeon HD7970 As you may know, our DualMiner USB 2 (DM2) has a price promation on volume purchase this month. When you purchase 50+ DM2 devices, you pay $61.2 for each DM2 device. I did a quick scrypt mining cost/reward comparision between the DM2 and one GPU (Radeon HD7970) system , and reached a conclusion that the DM2 is alreay neck to neck with Radeon HD7970 when comparing cost/reward matrix. Below is my detail analysis;
Assumptions:
Difficulty is steady
You could get 10 DM2 at $61.2 per device somehow (such as through a groupbuy)
Given Conditions:
Host required to mine is not included in this comparision
External cooling is not included in this comparision
Mining Litecoin and $/LTC convertion rate = $16.94
Electricity cost (KW/Hour) = $0.15
Pool Fee = 2%
Duration for comparision = 375 days
Radeon HD7970 parameters; cost=$310, Hash Rate=700KH/s, Power comsumption=250W
10 DM2 parameters; cost=$612, Hash Rate=700KH/s, Power comsumption=15W

If your pruchase is equal to $5,000 (US$) or less, you still have three payment methods (credit card, Paypal, and Bitcoin) available to you, and your payment is only limited to Bitcoin when your purchasing more than $5,000 (US$) worth of devices. Hello Everyone,
We are new to the forum, but would like to bring an exciting news to this community. We will start to sale the world 1st ASIC based BTC/LTC USB miner, which could mine both Bitcoin and Litecoin at the same time, to US market soon. This USB miner (product name :DualMiner USB) is built with a single Gridchip's (Gridchip Inc. is based in Beijing, China) GC3355 ASIC chip.
