can someone mirror the driver package. the download from the dualminer site seems to be two cups and string. dualminer.com works fine, support.dualminer.com seems to be hosted on a zx81 with a morsecode modem!
Edit: Used work VPN to get them.
These things DO NOT LIKE USB3 hubs which is annoying so i currently have the pair attached to front ports + fan 129k average on multipool for two of them

Ok, I received mine today but think it's having issues. Getting HW errors on both dual mode and LTC only mode, plus the led's are not lighting up. Any idea's on the problem? It is connected to a powered USB hub. thanks, Tom

Which powered hub? USB 2 or USB3? How much power does it provide?

Is there any news on the new version of the mining software? The current version seems to like to stop mining every day or two. Other than that the miner works great. I am very happy with it.

Use the custom version of cgminer with cgwatcher. Haven't had any issues in days since I stopped using the GUI.

Thanks. Hopefully this helps for now. I cannot wait until nwools has DualMiner support for MultiMiner. It is so much better than cg and cgwatcher to use and configure. I know it's 2.0 but it's a couple of years old, I was thinking about that last night and was going to go out thoday and see if I can find a newer one, but now, I don't think it'll make a difference. I connected the miner directly to one of the USB2 ports on my new gaming machine I built and it's doing the same thing. So, I have to assume somethig is not right with the miner itself.

Are the drivers installing? Does it properly show 2 COMS for each dualminer in your device manager? Have you tried on another computer? I had an issue with windows not installing drivers, but it worked fine on another box. Check the power that your powered hub can provide, because you may be trying to run too many sticks with not enough power. If the sticks don't work directly into the usb port on the pc, then it is possible that the drivers got screwed up. I would try the DMs on another machine to eliminate firmware and power issues if possible.

I can verify that they do, indeed, work. I've ran a number of them through the shop, and they all run according to spec!

I was surprised how well they work. It was a simple install and once my pool info was put in they crunch away. Low power, low heat and works on LiteCoin, Dogecoin and other scrypt coins as well. They are nice little beasts. So these things actually work??

Roughly 900 from dualminer.com These units are great, super simple and just work. I just run them from a batch file and the cgminer provided in the dualminer folder, i have found that freq of 850 seems to give me the most stable hashrate and little to no extra heat, just a small usb fan. Compared to my experience with the Gridseed 5 chip miner the dualminers are much better as far as quirks and stability. Price is a little high but its the beginning of the ASIC scrypt age. I couldn't be happier about my experience with these dualminers, just patiently waiting for the linux software to be release so I can run from my raspberry pi.

Dear scrypt coin fans, After two weeks hard working, we have ported dualminer to cgminer version 3.5.0. It's NOT version 3.7 that we said in previous post. After previous post, our development team thought jump to version 3.7 is a little risky. So we just ported dualminer to 3.5, then merged most functions of last version into it. Start from this version, we will put our work to github. Please go to https://github.com/dualminer get cgminer source code. The major improvements in this version are: 1. Use libusb communicate with miner device 2. multiple devices support on beaglebone black, dozens devices on BBB can mine overnight. 3. dual mode mining function hasn't finish yet, it's NOT recommended now. At this moment, we haven't formally released new version Windows bundle installer. We will do a full test on it for next couple days. Planing to release the installer next Wednesday. By the way, we created a forum for our dualminer discussion. Have a look http://forum.dualminer.comDualMiner Team

Power's instability will cause this problem. The more stable of the power supply, the more stable of the mining. A better USB 2.0 hub helps lots here. NOTE: some hubs have a surge protector. The surge protector will limit the current that drew by mining device. It will kick off the device when there is a surge. These kind of hub is NOT good for mining. A self powered hub with surplus power is the best. We will keep fine tuning our software to improve the stability. A planing software feature is periodically check device status. If find a device stop mining, the software will try to stop/restart mining thread. Hope this method will improve stability lot.
