USDe is about to take off guys, we need to make sure everything is as polished as possible in every aspect of it.
The website hosting the blockchain: http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/USDe is down. Is it hosted anywhere else so potential new miners can view it?

Please go through anything USDe related and report any errors/bugs/concerns you may have. We are going to get a lot of attention here soon and the better we look, the better we will become.
It's like a job interview, and we are applying for VP under the CEO that is BTC.

*sniff* My little USDe is growing up

**EDIT** 6th on Coinwarz Wink
**EDIT** 5th!!!!

I sent a message to coinwarz asking them to correct the coins per block of USDe. They've got it listed as 1,000 which doesn't account for block bonuses that make the average per block 4,000. It's really hurting our coin because it's showing the mining profitability 4 times less than it should be, making it chase away new miners and appear to be a hideous investment since it's at the bottom of the frikking list.

Could you all please do the same. Even if it's simply "Please correct the coins per block of USDe"
http://www.coinwarz.com/contact   <---Click it, type something coherent and send Smiley

**EDIT: I just realized that if they change it without resetting the data they've already pulled, USDe will show up at the top of the list because the massive spike in profitability. This error on their part might be a MASSIVE boost to this coin.

Shouldn't the average coin block be 3,960 not 4,000 using a mean calculation for a 100 block segment?  Or am I missing something?  Shouldn't we ensure we are asking coinwarz to set the right average coin block value before we send them a bunch of emails?

Here is how I broke it down.

81 x 001 blocks = 81,000 USDE
9 x 005 blocks - x005 pay=5,000 USDE (5,15,25,35,45,55,65,75,85,95) = 45,000 USDE
4 x 010 blocks - x010 pay=10,000 USDE (10,30,70,90) = 40,0000 USDE
4 x 020 blocks - x020 pay=20,000 USDE (20,40,60,80) = 80,000 USDE
1 x 050 blocks - x050 pay=50,000 USDE (50) = 50,000 USDE
1 x 100 blocks - x100 pay=100,000 USDE (100) = 100,000 USDE

(81,000 + 45,000 + 40,000 + 80,000 + 50,000 + 100,000) / 100 = 3,960 USDE

So is it 4,000 or 3,960?

There are [10] 5K Blocks in your list, not 9. 4K average is correct.

I'm sure you guys have heard a lot about the Winter Olympics in Sochi?  There's a lot of unique chatter and picture sharing about guest accommodations...  The USDe site will have at least one if not two Sochi Olympics-related articles posted in the hopefully near future (new site is nearing publishing, very likely tonight).

I'd like to announce a contest for a good, Sochi-hospitality-inpired memes, with a USDe twist.

The winning graphic and/or meme may be used in the publishing of related blog articles.

1st Place Winner receives 20k USDe
2nd Place Winner receives 10k USDe
3rd Place Winner receives 5k USDe

USD-e, I've always appreciated your common sense when dealing with all kinds of stuff as the person leading the USDE coin project, but this idea of yours really caught me off guard. I think this would be a shot in the foot as far as the coin's marketing is concerned. The Sochi games are under heavy fire from all sides, because of Russia's "president" Vladimir Putin's homophobic stand, because of that country's anti-gay and anti-freedom of speech laws, and now because of a controversial cull on stray dogs around the areas where the games will take place (and that means murder in my dictionary). If USDE is going to be used to depict the Sochi Olympics positively in any way, please let me know, because I have absolutely no intention of having any kind of relation with anything or anyone who supports that abomination of an event.

Sochi 2014: world authors join protest against Putin

Russia's anti-gay and blasphemy laws threaten freedom, says open letter signed by more than 200 writers from 30 countries.

Sochi Winter Olympics: who is going to the opening ceremony?

China's Xi Jinping and Ukraine's Viktor Yanukovych will attend but many in west have been put off by Russia's anti-gay laws.

Sochi hires pest control firm for cull of stray dogs during Winter Olympics

Firm says thousands of stray dogs are roaming the streets of Sochi and that some are biting children.

Olympians urge Russia to reconsider 'gay propaganda' laws

Some current and former Olympians criticise Games officials and sponsors for lack of action over anti-gay measures.

Elton John to Putin: I will show you gay people victimised under Russian law

4 x 010 blocks - x010 pay=10,000 USDE (10,30,70,90) = 40,0000 USDE
4 x 020 blocks - x020 pay=20,000 USDE (20,40,60,80) = 80,000 USDE
1 x 050 blocks - x050 pay=50,000 USDE (50) = 50,000 USDE
1 x 100 blocks - x100 pay=100,000 USDE (100) = 100,000 USDE

(81,000 + 45,000 + 40,000 + 80,000 + 50,000 + 100,000) / 100 = 3,960 USDE

So is it 4,000 or 3,960?

Your math is correct, but your counting is not.  There are 10 5k blocks, not 9, and 80 1k blocks instead of 81.  The average is 4000.

Even with the potentially terminal bumps we've encountered, the devs have always been there for us. What sets USDe apart from all other altcoins is something that us early adopters already know, and newcomers are starting to realize. USDes value may be based off of BTC, but it's potential derives from the respect of the people who believe in it.
USDe isn't another shit tier pump and dump and through some sort-of miracle the community has almost unanimously refused to do it. There have been a few who thought it's dead and dumped, and now they're in regret, some of them are even coming back into the forum of a coin they're no longer invested in to cause panic sells so they can buy back in...it hasn't worked. Some have even resorted to scamming to get back in the game (you know who you are) and are now supporting it again.
Those who know the true value of USDe are looking beyond BTC. Any new coin always has to start off weighed against BTC. USDes goal is to raise the standards of crypto-currency, to appeal to the masses, to be so widely accepted that one day....people will be trading their BTC for it.
Native Americans once used seashells as currency. ASIC's have taken the power from the masses and given it to companies and the super wealthy. I want to be there when USDe takes it back. Let's make BTC a seashell.
Crush those blocks everybody, we've got work to do!

coinarmy and steadymining both down apparently

Nope. steadymining was down without any notice for a few days, but I went back to mining with them yesterday and they've been up and running since.
They have been very lucky with the blocks, hitting a lot of them and the big ones with less than 10% of the nethash. I'm earning ~7,000 USDe a day with 1.1MH/s

I swear this is the only time I will link an image this big o__o;

9 x 005 blocks - x005 pay=5,000 USDE (5,15,25,35,45,55,65,75,85,95) = 45,000 USDE
4 x 010 blocks - x010 pay=10,000 USDE (10,30,70,90) = 40,0000 USDE
4 x 020 blocks - x020 pay=20,000 USDE (20,40,60,80) = 80,000 USDE
1 x 050 blocks - x050 pay=50,000 USDE (50) = 50,000 USDE
1 x 100 blocks - x100 pay=100,000 USDE (100) = 100,000 USDE

(81,000 + 45,000 + 40,000 + 80,000 + 50,000 + 100,000) / 100 = 3,960 USDE

So is it 4,000 or 3,960?

Your math is correct, but your counting is not.  There are 10 5k blocks, not 9, and 80 1k blocks instead of 81.  The average is 4000.

Haha, my bad.  Thanks for confirming that 4,000 is correct and CoinWarz is now showing the right block reward.
