According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Any prevision about Cryptsy?

As I said before, it is not a good time for Cryptsy, yet.
Lets buy and hold and wait for the improvements of this coin, then we can heads up.

We will make it all together. Please don't forget to donate.

i prefer USDe start off small and work its way up to a bigger community, and its growing by the few. you see what happened when USDe launches. Massive attention on day one..

---So call supporters--- quotes
"Promising, Promising", "Promising coin", "Too the moon!", "USDe to the moon!", GREAT COMMUNITY", "I SUPPORT THIS COIN!"

3 weeks later... "wait no cryptsy, no BTC-e???"  FAIL COIN!! FAIL COIN!!

AND BAM!! they all left at the same time.. left the coin to die.

No devs shouldn't announce a coin IMO. ever..

We now have a Live ticker
Check usd-e.com/news -> right sidebar -> live ticker. It will be more appealing.
Thanks amacar. I will send you the bounty now.

There is no such thing as not good time for cryptsy.
Crypsty means exposure , you don't have to come up with a 5th generation coin first and then move to exchangers.
Plus the community might gain new members with new ideas and promoting power.

Agree.  The more exposure the better - dying a slow death otherwise.  Plus these small exchanges are down a lot, coinmarket.io is down right now as I write this - annoying when it shows no orders, ? for balances, etc.  Not convincing of a site to send large amounts of BTC or anything too when it isn't reliable - and the other small ones are similar.

We should push very hard to get on Cryptsy asap, they have tons of small coins on there, etc.  Being ~90 out of 100 on coinmarketcap right now is ok but another 10 spots down and USDe just falls off the list all together.

I did not want to talk about this... but.....
You guys are right when everything about this coin is settled. We need dev, merchants, serious, colourful and professional advertisement posters explaining the aim of this coin clearly. When these things are done, I have nothing to say for Cryptsy. But now, Cryptsy is gonna be a pump for first and second day. Then coin is going to be left again with no strong support behind... So it is better when the Vision and Mission are better and clear, and a strong team behind, it will keep the coin at least in a better position.

You won't find too many merchants with a coin that is a pain in the ass to get and even for that you would have to go to a shady exchanger.

...

Oh and speaking of launches... We can share now, because it's confirmed... Something very BIG and UNIQUE is coming out during the upcoming President's Day weekend (this is a U.S. Holiday -- 2/15 - 2/17/2014).  The news release may be posted as early as 2/14, but this remains to be decided still.
...

USD-e, so could you please make some clarifications about this part? I'm not the only one who is curious about it. It was planned but then cancelled or it goes under some kind of NDA  so you can't share details? Tell us anything please.

This has been communicated to a number of shareholders, but this event had to be postponed and the new date has not yet been established.  No reason to be alarmed, we are making progress, despite it appearing a little slow.   Cheesy
