I have a suggestion - why not to start some marketing campain for the multipools, allowing to "mine" NXT? Blackcoin, that's just a useless (except nice speculations))) clone of bitcoin, attracted huge attention with the help of such pools, but I believe many of BC users will migrate to NXT, if will know more about it.

The pools like hashrate.org aren't quite ready for primetime yet (stats/graphs not in place, etc). But I agree, this might be a marketing opportunity.

Blackcoin started advertising it even before pools were ready as well, if I'm not mistaken they've just finished beta-tests (sold my stake already, so not paying much attention there now). But they already attracted tonns of new users, and BC rate is few times higher, then it was before the pools were started. Right now, when we have a competitors already, maybe it will really better to wait till the pools will be 100% ready, but I still see a chance for nice promotion even with current state of pools. Miners can use them right now anyway, for them the profit is priority, not graphs etc

I have always been curious to hear what other alt coin developers have to say about NXT.  I even ask myself if they even know about NXT.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out at the Texas Bitcoin Conference that a lot of "major" alt coin developers were FULLY AWARE of NXT and it's technological features.

In this 6th and last video interview with Vitalik Buterin (one of the co-founders of Ethereum (ETH)), we talk about about the differences between Ethereum and other alt coins such as NXT.

It was very clear to me that Vitalik was very aware of NXT and it's features.  Unfortunately, I was not in a technical position to have any worthwhile debate with him about the differences between NXT and Ethereum.

In the video, he states "good luck [to NXT]" when I asked what prevented NXT from also developing a scripting language. 

What does this mean?

Is NXT able to add a scripting language or is it already too late?

My impression from talking to Vitalik is that a scripting language needs to be created from the very beginning n it's too late for NXT to create one and that is why he said "good luck".

Is my understanding correct?

I was looking for those who didn't get donations in last month and rewarded them for some specific items (wiki, theses), or for regular helping by making news or videos from the small marketing funds. Bigger projects should be funded by proposals (https://nxtforum.org/marketing-committee/) or in future by kickstarter site, but this small support could last for few months

1.  We had the first public NXT community & Development Update last Wednesday with several people in the NXT community including Come From Beyond, Damelon, QBTC, Uniqueorn, Adam Levine, Opticalcarrier, Randall, etc and others who chose to remain anonymous.

The purpose of these NXT updates are to keep everyone in the NXT community informed and up to date with the latest developments and progress from NXT without having to read multiple forums.

2.  I will post this status update video in all the major nxt forums for now but in the future it will only be posted to Nxtforum.org.

3.  I'm in the process of creating a system that will automatically broadcast these status update videos to the community as soon as they are uploaded so you don't have to constantly check in the forums.

4.  Any suggestions and constructive criticisms to make future hangouts and updates better are highly welcomed.

5.  The goal is to have future updates broadcasted on Youtube Livestream and have a chat roll available so NXT community members can interact and do a Q&A during the update.

No, these were for establishing new original sites, like nxtforcharity as I remember

here is the table from February:

based on this we just had:

I see. So the 1000 NXT is "maintenance fee", because Nxter.org has news / "many original articles".

According to the gdoc a small original original article is 500 NXT, also the NXT Newsletter reward is 1000 NXT pr. newsletter (4 has been rewarded (only 3 is found in the gdoc), yet 7 has been published).

When is this amount paid out, if not now?

Right, it is due to the long voting process and establishing committees... It would be wise to discuss such things at our next meeting. finally  

So we should come to a concesus about those things that are more regular and not specific, like a "new site", "wiki glossary", "infographic", etc, which can be easily rewarded by "small marketing" fund now.

So we will discuss regular rewards for established projects:
- nxctrypto.org
- mynxt.org
- nxt.org and development of this site

- nxt wiki + translations
- nxter-newsletter

- speakers

+ there are many local sites and many local social profiles (vk.com/cryptonxt)

Then we will build more focused bounty program (achievements/goals), probably by following A. Levine's ideas, like:

- Television spot / fund for Phd students / a book about Nxt...

The good thing is there could be released Nxt kickstarter in 3 days. There is a platform for most of the bounties. With a kickstarter site we would be able to easily solve donations from the community (= more DECENTRALIZED) and also from unclaimed coins, if needed.
