Can someone kind to paste a optimized start command for script-jane with 270x?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I have a patched cgminer 3.7.2 with scrypt jane capability. Will it work just as well or do i have to use the official miner?

Yes, use these variables:

Code:
--scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600

Good luck everyone. Launch fucked unless your around on release time.  The friggen pools should have been ready for registration 2 days ago.  Go figure.

Why are the pools not open for registration? The point of this is for people who are not going to be around at launch to configure before hand!

the devs are running behind, i am sure they are working as hard as they can. it is better to have it closer to working correctly and be a bit late, than to put it up and have 100 people yelling about errors

I have 2 computers and wallet will be only at one of them. So I will just setup wallet config and bat at one and only bat at second and it will work?

Hey guys, looking for your opinion here.

At 2,000KH/s, would you recommend pool or solomining this at the start?

Thanks in advance.

I have 2 computers and wallet will be only at one of them. So I will just setup wallet config and bat at one and only bat at second and it will work?

Set up one machine with everything. Then copy that to the second machine. The wallet.dat files will have the same keys and so will show the same on either machine. Note that there can be problems when all of the wallet address (default 100 addresses) are used, because the two wallets will create new addresses that are different on the two machines.

I'm planning on pool mining and only know how to mine scrypt based coin.
I'm using BFGminer on linux, any modifications I have to make to the .conf files before mining this coin? or I should use the normal scrypt settings as usual?

Any help would be appreciated it. Thanks

Edit: btw, I'm GPU mining and NOT Cpu

Before formulating your plan, you should read this thread.  This isn't a scrypt coin... It is scrypt-jane.  The OP has the miner links.

Understood, but your not supposed to test and tweak right before release.  You do all that stuff first.......... so your product is ready to release on time

Your guesses please:  Will Ultracoin launch on time regardless whether the official two pools are ready?

I think they should delay the launch until they get the official pools running with a minimum number of registrants (e.g. at least 100).  If I'm running a scam pool, what a perfect opportunity to get desperate, eager, money-hungry miners to jump on my pool.

Dude I've seen way worse launches that this..
Also a last check pre-release is always welcome. This doesn't mean that they haven't stressed and tested stuff Smiley
