So I think I finally got the solo miner running.

R9 280X only getting 475 kh's but no Accepted or Rejects.

Says New block detected on network.

Does this mean I am actually solo mining and are those blocks I am finding?

This is a huge accomplishment for me if I am actually solo mining. Been trying for a month now. Well with out solo mining from the wallet.

That is all I've been getting for over an hour.

Basically unless you have 5 M/hash+ you don't have a chance of finding anything. Unless a pool opens very soon this coin will die as even the people with big rigs won't be finding anything.

At this point I don't care about the coin.

Just happy if I am solo mining. Please tell me I am doing it right

Been trying to do it for over a month.

If I am solo mining then maybe I will be ready when MaxCoin comes out and be ready at the start instead of hours later.

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

thats what happens with scrypt jane, hash rates are lower.... not the same

you need to edit the solo mine.bat, this is mine for a 7970
ultracoinminer -o http://127.0.0.1:44101 -u youruser -p yourpassword --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388361600 --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256

use the same settings you have on cgminer

mine went from 15Khs to 520Khz with the above script although still no Rejects, no accepted... no nothing.

Could be a shitcoin guys, remember I'm selling ultracoin.info, ultracoin.biz, ultracoin.co.uk and ultracoin.eu if anyones interested, if not I'm just gonna put up a landing page with a video of a dog straining to take a shit as this coin deserves

Yes it sounds like your doing it right.

MAXcoin is cpu only so you will mine direct from the wallet unless someone brings out a cpu standalone miner

Hurry and post here before the dev delets this post:
Dev keeps deleting anyone that speaks out against this coin. So much for crypto freedom.

This coin piece of shit... don't mine and let it die
This is not scrypt-jane

it is scrypt jane you retard
So tell me why my hash power is 600 kh/s Huh (r9 290x)
I mining velocity coin before this, with 8 mh/s hash power
What's diffrence

I'm hashing at 1mh/s wit 2x7950's.  My rate sucked until I added -I 18 to my .bat file.

(edit...changed gh/s to mh/sec...I WISH it were gh/s!)

please set expiry = 1, scan time = 1, and queue = 0 in cgminer to lower rejects.

This means it's working but you're not the one finding blocks...

You'll know if you find a block because you'll see "Accepted" and your wallet should get coins in it!

AWESOME.

I am just going to use this for practice and see if I can get all the cards up and soloing

If you guys do not know how to solomine then you should not have waited till launch to try to figure it out. You could have experimented and figured out how to set it up on any other coin.  I understand the frustrations but, SHEESH.  It does suck that the pool is not open, we all would benefit from that, and there is not really an excuse, but hey, life ain't fair. What happened to Hackshards pool?

They gave up, couldn't get it to work.

I would engage you in a battle of wits, but I will not strike an unarmed opponent.
