Maybe do this ponzi discussion say once a month
for the next year
what do you say men ?
Instead of a discussion, how about a bet? Or letting me short this ? How about I double your ponzi profits if I turn out to be wrong, and I get to keep the principal if I was right? We use escrow. How much are you willing to bet on pb still honoring its contracts 12 months from now? Not everyone at once. Surely the pb believers would like to earn 2x more no? Do you realy think that someone will want to escrow money for 12 months..? I'll escrow the money for 12 months. Please let me know when u guys decide upon the bet

consider this: we will be looking at some serious difficulty jumps in 2015.
Why do you think diff will go up? I think that will be going down .. I don't make statements on things i 'think' i make statements on facts. I know what has been t/o for h/w manufacturers. Right down to the 16nm process - the most blood curdlingly efficient chips that you will ever know. Enough to render absolutely everything that is online hashing today, useless. There is a race to 0.03w/gh, who do you think will get there first? In 2015? And when exactly? Q1? Q2? Q3? Or Q4? Perhaps you think pbmining will fill a farm with this gear? Perhaps... But i very much doubt it. So, the difficulty will go up because the machines will be faster and more power efficient. So, doesn't that mean they will cost less to buy/run hence being a wash on both sides? Isn't every farm/miner in the same boat? I don't see your point.

I believe that is correct. You do not see my point, is a fair assumption of the facts. The higher difficulty goes, the more pbmining makes because they have less they are required to pay their victims.
The entire point.

I had a theory that if diff begin to fall, all cloud mining services will have more to pay and then quickly we will see who's lying .. but if it is as you write, even if there are Ponzi's, they will still have a good long time ..

That's it.. Edit: Of course if theory about PBminig is Ponzi... I would be happy if all cloud mining services proved to be legit, but for now we can only discuss about this ..

I get your point. Your point is they are a Ponzi. I was looking from the point of view that they are mining. Why waste so much time and energy trying to "prove" that?

No because the ponzi will still need to reduce their prices accordingly. Anyone who thinks the price of miners will taper down with efficiency has some things to learn about t/o costs on these heavy density chips. Mining gear does not get cheaper, it becomes more 'corporate'

All services are lowering prices because diff is rising..

Perhaps you think pbmining will fill a farm with this gear?
Asic vendors may be racing to 0.1J/GH, pbmining already finished at 0.0J/GH.

Well Puppet I don't know what the men say, but I'd like to take you up on this bet. The bet will be a double or nothing bet, .2 btc, for one year each of us giving this amount to a escrow to be help until November 25 2015 6Pm Eastern time. At that time or before if PB fails to exist or pay out, the escrow will pay the .4 btc to to the proper winner minus his fee should there be one. If we can find proper escrow to handle this I'm on. I don´t know; maybe it was a heat of the moment thing.
And that bet challenge was issued to me, may not apply to others. Not that I care if Puppet loses money.

That makes no sense at all> He clearly issued a challenge by saying this, ( for the next year what do you say men ? Instead of a discussion, how about a bet? ) He is not talking to you. He's issuing a challenge , not specifically to you but to all men. I'm a woman and maybe I'm disqualified by gender. however, I got .5 btc, and I am willing to put my money forward. Certainly after the days of conversations out here with everyone saying ponzi and all the reasons he gave, and all the talk that was created. After all the pages and pages of every ones opinion about all of it, that I had to read through, Especially all that Puppet had to say about it. It is now time to put our bitcoin where forward. I am ready.

What you need to understand, is i really respect puppet, I agree with 95 % of what he has to say. However because being a student of math as those who have seen my post in the past. For me PB is an interesting math problem at all times evolving. Even though most of what Puppet says is in very good judgement, We need to understand that even if something like PB was a Ponzi, math tells me that it could operate successfully for many years. We are now past the era of short term ponzi schemes, that was common all through the 70's and 80's . Now with this bitcoin mining, it is possible to have long term ponizi scheme that takes years to unravel. Therefore, I don't disagree with any of puppets common sense reasoning, Except his challenge that PB will end and be gone by this day next year. I don't think that wise to do this puppet, but I am a bitcoin girl, looking for a bit of double your bitcoin, double your fun. Consider to reconsider, or put up. I will respect your judgement on this. Anya

Doesn´t seem to hurt business, probably the contrary. I mean, you see this tortured reasoning here: they refuse to disprove scam allegations therefore must be a scam.
