I heard that Price said it will take 7 days for the SSD wallets to be resolved. They have a database of transactions, trades, deposits, so they will have to crosscheck that and somehoe compensate for the SSD that was sent out improperly. This is what happens when you don't head the advice of a dev (and then two weeks later realize oh snap all our coins are gone... howwww). Although people are saying it was a "double-spend attack" from what I read in the convo between argagkiig and C-Cex, the issue happened when c-cex didnt update their wallet for...a week or two, and as a result an unanticipated glitch/bug occured where creating new addresses only came up with addresses that already existed....

I hope it does not take too long to come to a resolution, although it might hurt c-cex's personal wallets if what I read was accurate; in which case they may have to cough up coin from their own personal wallets if they cannot recover the improperly sent out SSD's.

To protect your own interests though, I suggest anyone that deposited or bought SSD on C-Cex logging into your C-cex account, go in the My Assets -> History tab and make a screen-capture of it. Just in case they "lose" their records.

Remember, protecting your money/assets is YOUR responsibility. Be smart, trade safe!

I wonder if they do any due diligence? I had a little bit of BTC within that particular IPO when it got first release but the support from this "exchange" if you can call it that is fucking pathetic.

nice going c-cex owner...

1. had an open ticket that wasnt answered for 30 days (after 2 weeks of non helping make belive answers...)
2. c-cex stole more than 200 k of delisted coins, and in the final scam, made a withdrawal of 40$ but attached it to non existing txid
3. 50 days (!!) has passed since then, the market of the withdrawal coin is active and not even once went down for maintanace, but c-cex didnt answer my last 15 messages...

4. as a final act of frustration , and because it seems that c-cex dosnt even care, i created 15 more support ticket, only to find out a day later that my ip was blocked and they even removed my user from the user table (so i have no user...)
ofcourse that they dont let me withdrawal the remaining balance in their fraud like site

dont trust c-cex and dont trade there
they are a bounch of scammers, if you googled c-cex and scam you can see it for your self

You're the third user I know who's had their account closed by C-Cex in lieu of doing a refund.
After the Darkcoin shenanigans (and now SSD), I thought people would stop using this exchange, but apparently many still do.
You have to wonder if an exchange can be so cavalier with its reputation, how long are the owners planning to stick around - especially with the level of debt it's carrying?

I indeed, must confirm that C-CEX support always is ready to provide help when something is wrong. Mostly of the time I need help I ask regarding problems I contact C-CEX skype support. And their service is great, when I contact them I will get messaged in 15 minutes (own experience) and they always resolve my problems. No scam  here.

Totally agree I think many of the people who use it for longer than a day realize how good the exchange is. Many of the detractors look and feel like paid shills, no exchange is perfect but at least when you trade there it's not faked out bot volume.

C-Cex is a very active and responsive exchange.  Attacking them does not help anyone, as they always do their best to respond to their capacity.

Scam warning???!!!  I am a regular ccex user and have NEVER had any issues.

I have accounts at many other exchanges, but CCEX is the one I use the most.  I find them very helpful and responsive.

If you can not log in, the problem must be on your end; I log into CCex every day without any issues. Just open a support ticket and I'm sure they'll help you out.

Also, they list coins which are in the delisting queue on their site trading page; if you have altcoins and don't check on them for 2 weeks, you must also be ready to lose the bulk of your investment to scams, fud or other calmities.

For the record: I've had 1 issue with CCex over the past 6 months and it was resolved within a few hours. As far as I can tell, they run an entirely legitimate exchange and try to help their users as much as possible.

The value of your coins is not volume dependent, especially when they're listed on multiple exchanges. Either way, you should do a better job tracking your investments, especially so in the AltCoin space where things can change at lightning speed.
