Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Ok,
I transferred BTC into the site late last night, AFTER any of these issues. This AM I can't get it withdrawn?!?!?! This is blatant theft if you are still taking in BTC and won't allow them to come back out!
edit: So now a couple hours later all record of my deposit were deleted and the withdrawal request deleted also. Have a screenshot of when it was there and now it is just gone.
Is this going to be fixed?

Sorry that I have not been able to personally attend to any support tickets today. I will get to them tomorrow. Withdrawal mechanism was redesigned, now all withdrawal requests are processed centrally from a global command queue. I will be hiring additional developers as soon as possible.

UNLESS YOU USE 2FA.
I'm sure you are aware that 2FA usage on poloniex is so unfriendly. Just simple things like lack of focus in 2FA window, requires me to click into it when it appears. Sessions die so quickly forcing another 2FA code. No way to set an option that 2FA is remembered for IP being used (so 2FA would be required once per day per IP for login purposes and not everytime). And finally "borrowing" 12% from people: - was done in sucking way, existing buy orders were canceled instead of being reduced. No information about this on exchange itself, no mailing. - if you "borrow" 12% from people then you should return more. "borrowing" costs. 20%/year or even a more since it was forced? |
