im trying to solomine
is that what it should look like?

Forget solo-mining lol with such a huge net hashrate. Join a pool otherwise you'll get nothing

On a slightly-related note - I'm getting 5.9 MH/s on my 3 Powercolor R9 280x cards. Is that ok?

im against pools, youre just an useless hasher there.
if everyone ran wallet and miner, network would be much safer.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

What do you think about p2pool ?

wallet + p2pool solo or wallet + p2pool peer.

@CHAOSiTEC: Is there a problem with http://drk.lotterymining.com/? It shows:
Code:
Pool Hash Rate	0.000 MH/s
Pool Efficiency 99.73%
Current Active Workers 0
[...]
Time Since Last Block 89 hours 10 minutes 31 seconds

No workers and hashrate of 0? I'm still mining at your pool, sgminer shows no problems.

Pools, P2Ps, solo... you're always going to get the same amount of Darkcoins, save for the deduction in fees. However if the difficulty is too high, then the combined hash-power of Pools/P2Ps will blow solo-miners out of the water, making it nearly impossible to find a block by yourself.

I'm at 1.967MH/s on each card, undervolted to 1.056mV and clocked at 1028... every time I tried to OC my cards they would just drop their hashrates. They're also mining at 49 degrees celcius.

What happens when you receive coins?

Example.

Bob wants to carry out a transaction with an exchange. He doesn't want anyone to know, so he uses DarkSend to send some coins across.

Bob carries out a few trades on the exchange. After a few transactions, and to avoid leaving money on the exchange, he wants to send Darkcoins back to his wallet - but he would rather that people didn't correlate the exchange he uses with him in anyway.

Is DarkSend one way, apart from another party that has it enabled?

If Crypsy is an indicator to the interest in a coin (in an exchange where you can buy almost any coin rather than selected few), then Darkcoin is not in a bad starting position AT ALL.

DRK 24h volume is over 118 BTC, and the ONLY coins with more volume are Litecoin (544 BTC), Dogecoin (860 BTC), and Aururacoin (2347 BTC).
In terms of 24h volume, DRK precedes older, more established coins with larger marker-cap as NXT, Worlcoin, Quark, ProtoShares etc.
To the Dark-Side!

Note that both of these have large effects on the price of any coin that goes on them because they enable direct CNY trading (CNY = Chinese Yuan). If you look at the transaction volume of DOGE and VTC, about 20% if it comes from DOGE/CNY and VTC/CNY trades rather than BTC pairs.

We *need* a Chinese webpage explaining what DRK does and a Chinese wallet translation to help these new DRK users. Any speakers out there?

Also, VOTE.
