not helping.. where can download another sgminer version safely ?

Here is a great bunch of software I always use,
https://www.nicehash.com/?p=software

use newer kernel darkcoin-mod,set threadconcurrency, worksize and xintensity in your bat and run separate instances more stable(d=0 is GPU 0), and catalyst is 14.7 RC 3 is quicker than 14.2

color 0A
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
SETX GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
sgminer.exe -k darkcoin-mod -o stratum+tcp://drk.ghash.io:3333 -u misha.1 -p x --xintensity 1000 --thread-concurrency 24500 -w 64 -d 0 -g 2

Thank you  Wink  got my MSI 280X to run at 4Mh/s      (is that a good speed for a 280X ? )

Patience dude, all you need is patience Rome was not built over night. Some things take years to achieve. The more we get the demand up and all help towards the success then the faster you can get your personal payout if your not in it long term.

Darksend is very exciting

This blog on the clearnet.
Submitted by cyrus on Thu, 02/26/2015 - 07:44
I have had the chance to do some business in Darkcoin and it has become very impressive. I've been excited about the project for a while but Darksend is now mature and usable. I gave it a whirl and I am very impressed, it is very user friendly. The wallet basically has two balances, one being the based on the ledger in the blockchain, and the other being a Darksend balance. You simply tell it to begin mixing when you have coins and it mixes them converting one balance to the other.

It didn't take long for the mixing to complete. With the price being so low I'm not sure how it would fare up to the centralized mixing services for Bitcoin. The feature has not been out for long but the price has been steadily rising. I don't know many of the technical details about Darksend but it is still impressive to just use. I looked at some of the transactions I had made using it and they were an enigma always coming from many addresses.

On that note I accept Darkcoin for trades and I base the quotes I give on the exchange rate at Cryptsy. I hope the technology becomes better known and the bigger markets start using it. It is certainly more foolproof than the internal mixing used by darknet markets. Tracing bitcoin transactions isn't exactly easy but as time goes by it is becoming regulated. This basically means that governments have a lot to threaten people with who trade it for information which could identify the owners of addresses, and reveal private information.

You should seriously consider Darkcoin and it's potential and tell your friends.
+1 Bump
Reports like this will only increase in number from this point on.
(FWIW--I'm sure the review would have been more negative if the our name was PinkPonycoin. Roll Eyes)

Just invested 0.49 btc in drk, let's go Smiley Was very interested, only the name dark and the tech behind it still has me worried, who can say everything went fine, when no-one can check it Smiley

Everything is opensource and as such anybody can check the tech. As for the name... *sigh*, is it that time of the month again?
In biology "that time of the month" is preparation for reproduction. Old tissue must be removed in order for new life to take root. The fact that it is rather consistently new adoptees who cite this issue as one of their few hold-backs, (and I can't remember anyone saying they came to the coin because of the name) I suspect this monthly cycle will continue until it too, generates new life. In the meantime (yes, "*sigh*") I will watch and wait. Roll Eyes

(Sorry--couldn't resist--one good sniper shot deserves another Wink)

We now return you to your regularly scheduled forum discussion...

Mirror of darkcoin tor docs in onion land: http://darkcoinie7ghp67.onion/tor.txt
Source: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/master/doc/tor.md

Code:
TOR SUPPORT IN DARKCOIN
=======================

It is possible to run Darkcoin as a Tor hidden service, and connect to such services.

The following directions assume you have a Tor proxy running on port 9050. Many
distributions default to having a SOCKS proxy listening on port 9050, but others
may not. In particular, the Tor Browser Bundle defaults to listening on a random
port. See [Tor Project FAQ:TBBSocksPort](https://www.torproject.org/docs/faq.html.en#TBBSocksPort)
for how to properly configure Tor.

1. Run darkcoin behind a Tor proxy
----------------------------------

The first step is running Darkcoin behind a Tor proxy. This will already make all
outgoing connections be anonymized, but more is possible.

-socks=5        SOCKS5 supports connecting-to-hostname, which can be used instead
of doing a (leaking) local DNS lookup. SOCKS5 is the default,
but SOCKS4 does not support this. (SOCKS4a does, but isn't
                implemented).

-proxy=ip:port  Set the proxy server. If SOCKS5 is selected (default), this proxy
server will be used to try to reach .onion addresses as well.

-onion=ip:port  Set the proxy server to use for tor hidden services. You do not
need to set this if it's the same as -proxy. You can use -noonion
to explicitly disable access to hidden service.

-listen         When using -proxy, listening is disabled by default. If you want
to run a hidden service (see next section), you'll need to enable
                it explicitly.

-connect=X      When behind a Tor proxy, you can specify .onion addresses instead
-addnode=X      of IP addresses or hostnames in these parameters. It requires
-seednode=X     SOCKS5. In Tor mode, such addresses can also be exchanged with
                other P2P nodes.

-onlynet=tor    Only connect to .onion nodes and drop IPv4/6 connections.

An example how to start the client if the Tor proxy is running on local host on
port 9050 and only allows .onion nodes to connect:

./darkcoind -onion=127.0.0.1:9050 -onlynet=tor -listen=0 -addnode=ssapp53tmftyjmjb.onion

In a typical situation, this suffices to run behind a Tor proxy:

./darkcoind -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050

2. Run a darkcoin hidden server
-------------------------------

If you configure your Tor system accordingly, it is possible to make your node also
reachable from the Tor network. Add these lines to your /etc/tor/torrc (or equivalent
config file):

HiddenServiceDir /var/lib/tor/darkcoin-service/
HiddenServicePort 9999 127.0.0.1:9999
HiddenServicePort 19999 127.0.0.1:19999

The directory can be different of course, but (both) port numbers should be equal to
your darkcoind's P2P listen port (9999 by default).

-externalip=X   You can tell darkcoin about its publicly reachable address using
this option, and this can be a .onion address. Given the above
configuration, you can find your onion address in
                /var/lib/tor/darkcoin-service/hostname. Onion addresses are given
preference for your node to advertize itself with, for connections
coming from unroutable addresses (such as 127.0.0.1, where the
                Tor proxy typically runs).

-listen         You'll need to enable listening for incoming connections, as this
is off by default behind a proxy.

-discover       When -externalip is specified, no attempt is made to discover local
IPv4 or IPv6 addresses. If you want to run a dual stack, reachable
from both Tor and IPv4 (or IPv6), you'll need to either pass your
other addresses using -externalip, or explicitly enable -discover.
Note that both addresses of a dual-stack system may be easily
                linkable using traffic analysis.

In a typical situation, where you're only reachable via Tor, this should suffice:

./darkcoind -proxy=127.0.0.1:9050 -externalip=ssapp53tmftyjmjb.onion -listen

(obviously, replace the Onion address with your own). If you don't care too much
about hiding your node, and want to be reachable on IPv4 as well, additionally
specify:

./darkcoind ... -discover

and open port 9999 on your firewall (or use -upnp).

If you only want to use Tor to reach onion addresses, but not use it as a proxy
for normal IPv4/IPv6 communication, use:

./darkcoind -onion=127.0.0.1:9050 -externalip=ssapp53tmftyjmjb.onion -discover

I don't know anything about onion, may you please explain, can a masternode be set up as a static ip? And how many ip's are available, I am thinking there may be a problem if more than 1 masternode trys to use the same onion address?

No, you should be getting higher, I think around 6.5 megahash, I only own the R9 290 tri OC and thats 7.45 megahash, so you will be slightly under. The rate you're getting suggests you're not using Wolf0's bins, you must substitute your already created bins in the mining folder with Wolf's, by renaming Wolf's to the originals and replacing the appropiate ones-make sure you know which chipset it is (or copy name and do all 4, pitcairn, tahiti, cape verde and hawaii)
http://www.reddit.com/r/DRKCoin/comments/2o1yoz/rewritten_x11_binaries/
and explained in detail by BolehVPN,
