I know it is premature, but I can't wait for the day Darkcoin finally takes the number 2 spot that Litecoin has held on to forever. That will be a big deal. And to put things into perspective, around the time BTC rallied to its all-time high, Litecoin went from about a $40-$50M marketcap to $1.1B in the span of about 5-6 weeks.

If you want that to happen start getting Evo and the other big Darknet Markets to accept it Wink

They will, it's a matter of time. DS continues to be further polished and with IX, there isn't a reason not to offer it.

********* AMBER ALERT ************

Dynamite. This is the bottom line.

Peter Thiel (Paypal founder) confirms that FULL FUNGIBILITY - not national adoption is the key to breaking the glass ceiling on cryptocurrencies as a threat to fiat:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=FMDlhy-ZTNo#t=670

Check also 12:44, talking about how the computer revolution hoped to decentralise everything but failed. Fantastic quote:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=FMDlhy-ZTNo#t=761

"Bitcoin only works if you can't trace ANY of the things your doing with it".

In context:

The nature of bull markets and herd mentality means the majority of people who will not buy at $3 will buy at $100 if they see others doing it and think they can make money. I looked at bitcoin when it was $10 and dismissed it, only to come back and buy some at $400, so go figure!
I will add, that in my humble view, a fundamental mistake amateur investors make is that they are too tight careful with their money to risk a loss on small 'speculative' buys at $3 but paradoxically will consider the investment less risk at $100 because others are doing the same so they think its safe and ok.

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Excellent trading technique  Roll Eyes I like to do the same, i.e. lose a major position then wait-wait-wait, panic-panic and finally crack under the pressure and buy back in only to get 80% of what I had before.

P.S. Otoh sends his love for those extra 10 masternodes  Wink

Who ever is running the PR...just a suggestion but I feel like their should be much more heavier PR campaigns and more efforts geared towards http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/ .......The dark markets are eying Darkcoin after all this BTC and ROSS drama. Now, its time to take action.

Let's make it wider, I would say not "DarkNetMarkets" but Bitcoin-Mixer Users  Wink

Good writeup on Darkcoin,
http://bitcoinist.net/market-wrap-223-31-bitcoin-darkcoin-make-bullish-moves/
and Gavin Andreson has increased the hop speed from 600 ms to 10 ms for already seen transactions for the new wallet.
So whats Darkcoin's cpu hop speed for normal and instantX for comparision ?

Edit: Hi Qwizzie, lol.
