All of toknormal's points and yours has been invalid/wrong

Think I might start a top-10 poll of favourite "Joshuar"ism logic-specials.

Starter for 10 will probably be "10,000 dead fish have more market liquidity than 1 gold bar" and "it's visible - you just can't see what's going on"

Keep them coming - only 8 more needed Wink

Don't worry I've taken it up the in the main bitcoin thread just to show how clueless you are. You don't even know how the blockchain works yet have the audacity to continue arguing.

P.S. That's also not the full definition of liquidity, if both sources has a buyer then the avg price of 1 fish being sold from the 10,000 will likely not change the avg price of the fish overall, unlike the selling of fractions of a bitcoin.

You really are clueless sir...

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release.
Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5%
Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1)  = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

1 fish out of 10,000 vs a fraction of BTC change in the price is no mark of liquidity. 1 fish cannot be subdivided to 8 decimal places, while BTC can.

Liquidity as I know it, is the amount a available in the market, subject to price discovery. Period.

He's purposely trying to change things to suit his flawed argument, same as when he said that cryptocurrencies don't use much cryptography.

Well, I totally missed that discussion, but yes, 31 billion zeitcoins available in the open market is much more liquid that 1 BTC. Each having the same 8 decimal points.

1 fish in the market is infinitely more liquid that 0 BTC in the market.

Whether people will but it or not, that is totally different argument.

I swear to god if anyone of you guys and girls sends a single dash to "dashpays" I will never accept any opinion you have about any subject more than I would the opinion of a toddler. Since you'll have clearly shown to not have any critical thinking.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Great job!

Props - I just unignored you.

I'm not 100% sure smooth has been trolling, but I haven't read all his posts.

From my experience with seeing smooth in various threads, he strikes me as being an asset to any project. But I'll defer to the views of those here who have seen most of his posts.

The majority of the others just look like run of the mill trolls trying desperately make a buck before they dump Monero

edit

taking a look back at smooth's posts, and will update

eh, any particular reason i'm on the Troll Brigade ? leading it no less ?

edit : actually thats a question for Sapereaude

Lol.  Yeah... I was thinking the same.  I don't have you on ignore.... AND you've been here awhile.... And I've never noticed fud/troll behaviour.  I'd be on it to see what's up... Because that's a dodgie group to be part of.  Wink

Introducing:

1 Dashcoin equals 6 USD:
Currently the shop price has been set to 1 Dashcoin = 6 USD. (Cryptsy’s exchange rate = 4,3 USD)
We will always give you 40% more for 1 Dashcoin than the rated cryptsy exchange.
Our webshop will auto update to Cryptsy’s market id: 155 (+40% more worth in our webshop)
Just a thought, but could this be the telltale heart? Dashcoin? It's quite possible that this site was made by a disgruntled Dashcoiner trying to get back at the community for it's "injustices". That would be the best troll, after all... This reeks right now, I wouldn't touch it with a 38.5 foot pole!

Are things that bad for Monero that you have to promote it on the DASH thread ? You keep talking but there's no substance. Is this just to show your logo and sig ?

I have had you on ignore for some reason, to be honest I am not sure why.. Especially when I look back at your posts. However since I refuse to make AW No.1 in anything you can remain leader until a new troll leader rises :p

Edit: Since there is no official troll list I used those I know are trolls or had on ignore(which may have been those responding to them), will update when we have one or maybe will do one with number Moreno mentions.

Thank you, hopefully you can also tell him that cryptography is prominently used in cryptocurrencies.

Again, I did not participate in the original discussion, so I don't know exactly what toknormal said. One thing I am sure of it that he is one sound analyst and has an extremely sharp and proven sense of the market.

cryptography as a verb, adjective or noun?

One thing is cryptographic practice, the other is cryptographic properties, the other cryptography principles.  Three entirely different concepts subject to interpretation.

I'm not the most proficient trader on earth, but allow me to disagree.

1 fish out of 10,000 vs a fraction of BTC change in the price is no mark of liquidity. 1 fish cannot be subdivided to 8 decimal places, while BTC can.

Liquidity as I know it, is the amount a available in the market, subject to price discovery. Period.

No, that's actually a bad analogy he just used and I was disregarding Bitcoin's denominations(vs fish for all things). Originally it was, 31 billion zeitcoins(Who can also be divided into 8 decimal places) and 1 BTC.

He's purposely trying to change things to suit his flawed argument, same as when he said that cryptocurrencies don't use much cryptography.

Are things that bad for Monero that you have to promote it on the DASH thread ? You keep talking but there's no substance. Is this just to show your logo and sig ?

No, I haven't even thought of that until I read your comment, how is my talk no substance when I've corrected everything your fellow has incorrectly, sometimes deceivingly said? Are you trying to troll? I was responding to the ludicrous statements made by toknormal and co.

Be Afraid.  Be Very Afraid.

This is a "stock" install of shopping cart software with updated logos.  Don't be the first to order, you'll get taken.  Do you really need a free I-thing that badly?

By the way Oaxaca.... That video you shared was super super funny... I've even shared it in our companies twitter and Facebook.   Very well timed to since I just finished my Sommeliers exam in Montreal! Mr.  Fortuno LuCrazy!  Epic. Thanks for that

You can go through my posting history to show you exactly what he said(It was entirely wrong, even gmaxwell corrected him). He said crytography, so we can only assume it was in general and encompassed all that you've listed.

Not doubting his analysis skills, he just continues to argue many false points while subtly changing the wording to fit his favor.
