Thank you, hopefully you can also tell him that cryptography is prominently used in cryptocurrencies.
Again, I did not participate in the original discussion, so I don't know exactly what toknormal said. One thing I am sure of it that he is one sound analyst and has an extremely sharp and proven sense of the market. cryptography as a verb, adjective or noun? One thing is cryptographic practice, the other is cryptographic properties, the other cryptography principles. Three entirely different concepts subject to interpretation. You can go through my posting history to show you exactly what he said(It was entirely wrong, even gmaxwell corrected him). He said crytography, so we can only assume it was in general and encompassed all that you've listed. Not doubting his analysis skills, he just continues to argue many false points while subtly changing the wording to fit his favor. I don't know what it is about you Monero people, but you just can't stop coming here to this thread and arguing. Toknormal is a highly respected member of this community. He's not a dev but has a sound overall understanding of the different architectures and technology configurations found in crypto and how that's relevant to the economics/practicality of adoption/real-world-usage. Your statements that he is clueless are offensive and WRONG. You're just like so many of the Monero people that continually post in this thread, you're pedantic and desperately looking for opportunities to "catch out" individuals you're engaging with so you can trumpet how ignorant they are and how much more knowledgeable you are. It is so immature and so lame. We know that most of you don't like (actually let me rewrite that "detest") DRK/Dash and everything about this project, all of which gets right up your noses. The mature and reasonable thing to do would be to just say to yourself "each to their own" and leave us be in our "ignorance" and "cluelessness" so you can focus on your own crypto project's success. But no....alas....you (and a whole lot of others) just HAVE TO come here and argue with us and treat everyone here with disdain. Really.....it's beyond pathetic. I too have struggled with this odd behaviour. I would like to think these individuals are normal members of society with normal family environment in which to live. If this is not the case.... Then this would fruitful grounds for those doing human profiling on what must certainly be red flags for those that would easily become psychopaths. It's truly alarming that these individuals are ratcheting up their rhetoric. This poses a potential danger for members of this thread, their own families and society in general. Very worrisome and very sad..... this is more very worrisome and very sad...... Where are the trolls? I came here with popcorn to read their comments but nothing. From his leaking IP I know Icebreaker is in the US so he is probably sleeping now. Leaking IP? Oh please tell us more... Why do you need to know his IP address "GhostPlayer" ? Invest in DASH, where criminal activity is openly encouraged!

But, eventually, it's all worth it or is it? Nope, it's not worth it: ----
That said, it's simply not acceptable for us (to echo your words) to put lipstick on a pig and ship a GUI that is pleasant enough, but takes 4 days to sync from scratch, requires 6+gb of RAM, sucks a ton of bandwidth, and is accepted nearly nowhere.
We will deliver a proverbial work of art, but it requires building out parts of the foundation that we had previously viewed as less of a priority (until the 202612 attack). Oh, and we're doing it on like no money, so there's that.
Broken piggy bank. Trolls, go and fix your broken piggy bank. I'm seriously impressed with the level of dedication to the Monero troll cause. It must be hell trying to troll with a coin that just hogs and hogs computer memory. I guess using Monero down the local shops would need to involve buying a wheelbarrow to carry your desktop pc around. But hey, because Monero.

I just received a "A post of yours has been deleted" message. It was me commenting on the DASHPAYS.COM online shop posting. Have just looked back and after all that debate/discussion it looks like they've all been deleted! (except for one by sangoku where he just added +10000 to the bottom.....go figure why his didn't get deleted but the rest did?)

TBH, after trying to use the highly buggy and unstable 'GUI' .net framework wallet, I am surprised its got this far and has such a large marketcap, can see it ending in a lot of shrieking and squeaking (perhaps we're getting the leading edge of whats to come back on themselves, Karma can be a bitch, or bitchez in this case)

Dash is 27.3 times faster with syncing and updating than Bitcoin and 93.7 times faster than Monero. Bitcoin (v0.11.0) has a Tao ratio 11.2% faster than bitcoin (v0.10.0) release. Dash (v.0.12.0.49) = Tao sync ratio = 0.15 seconds / hour of update || Dash (v.0.11.2.23) = Tao sync ratio = 0.24 seconds / hour of update. V12 versus V11 speedup = +36.5% Bitcoin (v.0.11.0) = Tao sync ratio = 4.14 seconds / hour of update || Monero (v.0.41.1) = Tao sync ratio = 14.2 seconds / hour of update

Not had chance to try version 0.11.2.17 yet -it looks a little faster but we shall see, but going to hold off until Evan and the Devs release a fix for current sporking for the masternode donation problem. Btw, wheres your donation address, not in your signature ?
