Sorry. Not be disrepectful....but who is he?
A crypto startup based in Switzerland developing ATMs and payment processing for several coins (currently BTC, LTC, DOGE, VTC). First time I noticed him was in the Dogecoin subreddit. He is very active and very very generous towards charities. He made a great name for himself, also maintains the dogecoin tip bot which is probably the most well developed tipbot out there (incredible volume) and now he's started https://moolah.io which allows you to pay for anything online pretty much with cryptocurrencies.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

I'm going to drop the security exploit bounties and shift them to a hack-a-thon event later when the source is released.
Also will add a bounty for the first altcoin ATM accepting darkcoin, and a bounty for a comprehensive media mailing list. Not sure if I can bounty the PR statements because they'll be ongoing. Someone might just have to be nice and donate their time for those.

So basically you can go to any online store and pay with cryptos through them? If that's possible, OMG! It opens up the world! People, We HAVE TO get him to accept us, please twitter him!!

At long last I finished the one-pager for Darkcoin. You can see the doc here: http://wowgwow.com/Darkcoin-one-pager.pdfhttp://wowgwow.com/Darkcoin-one-pager.docxFrom experience, having all the most processed and digested info on one-page makes it very easy for journalists, bloggers, readers etc. to tap in. I believe this will make our marketing efforts much easier. Since neither English nor technology are my first "languages", please feel free to rephrase anything. My 2cents. ChompyZ, only one problem that I see is that the chart showing how a transaction goes is outdated. We now use throw away addresses when the change is returned to the original payer. I wouldn't call it just coinjoin, but rather a hybrid or combination of coinjoin and single use addresses or something like that. I'd also say simple yet highly effective combination of coinjoin and single use addresses. Definitely use the new chart though Otherwise, it's awesome, thanks! Thanks for everyone's input. I've corrected the following and updated the files (same links): 1. replaced logo 2. changed 'competative' => 'competitive' 3. replaced Darksend chart to V3 instead of V2. 4. I made the 'Other' section a bit shorter so that it all fits in one-page 5. changed wording to "hybrid decentralized approach of coinjoin & 'single-use throw-away addresses'" 6. changed wording to "Transactions use 'throw-away addresses' to conceal the identity " I'm here for ANY changes, wording, suggestions etc. If you want to copy the files and place them anywhere else - fell free. I simply put them on an empty address I have that has no association to anything.

Satoshi should convert all his BITCOINS to DARKCOINS so that he can spend it anonymously!

Thanks for putting this together ChompyZ. I'll find a place on the new website for it. Since this is useful but there wasn't an official bounty for it, I'll send some DRK your way. Got a wallet address?

Awesome! Now go tweet that moohla guy, see reddit, LOL Oh, I misunderstood what they're capable of, but still it's like Coinbase (which processes payments for people like Overstock.com), only they're including other coins, not just Bitcoin. This is in itself still a very good thing if we can get them to accept DarkCoin

There are also other exchanges not mentioned. One could question name all or name none.

Great effort there lumeireOne of the most common questions that gets asked everywhere on this thread, forum, reddit etc is darkcoin vs zerocoin vs mixing services. Would it be possible to integrate excerpts from the beta pdf and Evan's post a few days ago into your charts. http://www.darkcoin.io/downloads/DarkSendv3.pdfhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5241291#msg5241291Also a 30-50% range electricity savings range is a more accurate description. X11 currently is also ASIC resistant and not very friendly to multipools. Wallet download link should go to darkcoin.io (official site) and not BTCTalk/

Got a wallet address? THANKS! I have my fair share of DRK and I enjoyed contributing what I can. I'd like to give the bounty to lumeire who produced a nice infographics imho (he says he has only a few drk...). Alternatively, if there is a bounty for lumeire's infographics, then I donate it back to the fundraising. I love the enthusiasm that is starting to build around this coin. Go Darkcoin!

There's already a bounty for the infographic. You can donate to the bounty fundraiser pool if you like: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5637726#msg5637726

lumeire shedding some light on Dark Can I make an observation: When you go to a supermarket you don't care how visa card transactions are carried out. You just pay. Can we make this info graphic an easy to understand technical chart for the crypto community, the tech minded, journalists, etc. For ordinary members of the public, we could do with something that shows a bitcoin transaction vs. darkcoin transaction to show they are the same, but with darkcoin you have privacy and with bitcoin you don't. Within financial product development and deployment, all people care about is trust and that the service works. Men care a bit more about the details, women just want the utility of the service. The main USP of Darkcoin is privacy, something people say they value highly but when it comes to it, they tend to ignore privacy issues, e.g Facebook. Also, we should not under estimate the use of Darkcoin by businesses. When you buy a house, the money is sent from a bank to a law firm, who sends it to another law firm, who sends it to another bank. Ordinary people don't see the money going through their bank account.

Imho we should drop the "black background" altogether. The new website is not going to be painted black either and it looks much more friendly and inviting...
We need a theme to run across all domains - website, infographics, sub-reddit, one-pager infosheet, etc...
Darkcoin represents a concept and a technology, not an illegal activity. Whenever I see the black background, i feel like I'm in a warez site from the 90s. Although the name is "Dark", it doesn't have to feel creepy or frightening. ... and that imho is exactly what the black background does.

I think the colors and style work well. Overall the infographic is appealing and interesting enough to keep my attention. A couple comments: I feel it's a tad wordy, the titles to 1, 2, and 3 could be simplified to one or two words 1. Privacy 2. Confidentiality 3. Identity-Protection I feel like in general the fonts could be a little clearer. Also, while people are commenting to keep adding more stuff, really try to simplify and declutter/consolidate stuff where possible. If someone wants to really know the technical details they can read the thread. Nice pictures, less words.

Its a matter of times before this explodes, with 'privacy' a real problem these days.
