Sorry to repost, but I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out. some things to check: * did you check you deleted all the old files before updating to a new wallet? You should delete all the old files, except the file named wallet.dat which contains your existing transactions. there is a post here a couple of pages back (not sure how many) that will walk you through the update and deleting process. Your wallet should say this version: https://i.imgur.com/MG1kcXo.jpg* Have you contacted crypts / support ticket? * do you have a transaction ID? * is your wallet in sync with the network now? Thanks for responding. When I initially replaced the wallet, I kept only the wallet and peers files and I was able to sync until block 34110. I tried the instructions again but this time leaving only the wallet. But, I am unable to sync past block 34110. I am now 4 hours behind. I do have a transaction ID from Cryptsy.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

This bot/trader has the whole orderbook filled with this junk. Bigvern should put some rules in for this type of thing. If you know who to contact, you should ask them if they'd be willing to do something about it. It hurts them the same, since it keeps prices down , therefor keeps fees down! Plus, it's nasty cheating, even if it's used on the gullible I don't think he'd want to do something about that because price manipulation takes a huge part in today's crypto market. Automated trading and possibility to artificially drive the price up or down must attract some huge players who make many trades and therefore pay more fees.

Hi to all , I m relativly new to mining so if somebody could guide me or show me exactly how to open an darkcoin account would be thankfull. I have mining rig(s) and normally using only basic script coins to mine. Have downloaded new BAMT 1.6 with support for darkcoin, but i cannot figure out how to open DRK account so can connect rig to a pool. I downloaded from darkcoin.io a wallet latest version v0.9.0.0 , also cannot figure out what i have to do in order to get my DRK account. also i m not a linux expert but know how to connect over ssh please advice Ok, I'm sorry to say I've never used BAMT. But to "open an account" what you do is download the wallet. If you're on Linux, normally you build it from scratch. The links are on the first page, and if you ask more specific questions, it'll be easier to help Anyway, If you want to connect to a pool, and I'll insert that I really enjoy mining at Lotterymining.com (you can find a list on the first post), all you do is sign up with one. Each one has a connection address, and - at least for phg' sgminer, the command to start would look something like this: c: cd ~\phmsgminer\ setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 sgminer.exe -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://lotterymining.com:4444 -u Me.MySlave -p Pass -I 14 Where Me is my sign-in name and MySlave is a worker I set up. Pass is your password and -I 14 is the intensity I'm using, which you may want to experiment to see what works for your rig Unfortunately, I don't know BAMT

I've read a lot of comments that they take forever, and if you did something stupid like I did (forgot my password and had to reset it) they will hold the transaction 24 hours before they send it. Thanks for your response. I have the transaction ID from Cryptsy to confirm it has been processed. Should it still take 24 hours after that? MintPal was quite quick...

i use this : AMD ADL SDK 6.0 AMD-APP-SDK-v2.9-lnx64.tgz amd-catalyst-13.11-beta-v9.4-linux-x86.x86_64.run sgminer 4.1.0-85-gccc7d and you ?
Sorry, I'm in windows 7 . . using catalyst 13.12 if that helps. Driver version 13.251-131206a-166389C-ATI, sgminer 4.1.0-85-gccc7d same as you though. I can dig up more information if you need it just let me know. Update on the dropped hashes: I feel safe now saying they're non-existant. Before I would start at about 2375-2400 and it would drop to 2000-2100 after a few minutes. It's now been well over an hour and the hashes stay where they belong . . the only thing I changed was my miner settings. I really don't know what would have caused it to produce less hashes . . but it was definitely a setting in the miner config.

Why do you have to delete the blockchain and chainstate? I mean, unless they're corrupted, they should be fine, no?

It's worked for me . . have you tried this or have you only deleted specific files in the folder?
