Someone should send Darkcoin info in a microtransaction to that address, maybe he like to invest a few million Love it. What's the message..... "Dearest $multi-million wallbuilder. Congratulations on your newfound celebrity status. You might prefer discretion next time - Darkcoin"

What a potential clusterfuck. There goes 2fa just like that. Plus they better have a massive team of hired IT pros in India ready to handle the mass exodus of withdrawal emails they're going to receive. I hope the crypto community realizes what a bunch of amateurs are there at MintPal HQ. I tested their urgent withdrawals out without any DRK coming in yet. These guys are seriously starting to piss me off. Did you email them because your account is missing and did they reply? My account 'does not exist' so I emailed them but no reply or BTC yet.

why would you not invest more in DRK at least short term according to your belief. What you are basically doing is partly and inefficiently hedging, which is actually increasing your exposure to loss in the short term, at least until you close your position. Just throwing that out there buddy, good luck !
Actually, if I had thought it all through to the extent you have I probably would have The problem is, it doesn't work out like that - i.e. as a nice, static, non moving goalposts situation. It's fluid and dynamic with many factors. How I "got here" was this: I had a general rule to invest a tiny portion of BTC in potential competitors that I thought may one day challenge Bitcoin. The idea was that as long as I got "in there" before they reached parity I'd always have numerically more of the challenger than BTC so I'd be hedged (forget fiat for now - I was only interested in having a "horse" in the cryptocurrency race). So I'd buy stuff like PPC, LTC, XPM and such. But then 1 day I thought DRK looked interesting and I stuck 1 BTC into it and got 1000 DRK's. (That was well before Evan came up with the masternodes idea - I just decided co-incidently I wanted 1000 coins). That was the most I'd EVER invested in a hedge and was high risk for me at the time cos I only had about 10 BTC back then. Next thing I know, a few weeks later, my DRK holdings are worth 27 BTC and my hedge has turned into my investment ! After that what happened is that the crash came - I realised some BTC and got out of the market around 2. Then I decided I "missed" being part of the community and following the very interesting technical progress that was going on. So I said f*ck it, bought back in around 13 and decided just to write my investment off - I was now in it for running a masternode and general project participation. Any long term financial returns would be "icing on the cake". So, you see, there's just a whole lot more factors to it than a simple investment / hedge situation although I take your point and will re-read your posts to see if I can optimised my holdings a bit better now that you've brought this perspective to my attention Well i'm happy your back with us Darkcoin supporters!

This is all too coincidental that MintPal has basically disappeared off earth and BTC stamp has multimillion dollar sells.

Most big holders didn't buy them for hundreds of dollars, they bought them for cents.

It's bad enough picturing a 15 year old intern tasked with correctly withdrawing BTC from 8,000 urgent withdrawal emails, i'd rather not contemplate what you are suggesting

Maybe Mintpal hired Mark Karpelès to help handle "early withdrawal" requests.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. In order to slow down the **bear** run on BTC, we have shut down the mining pools and exchanges for a mandatory cool off period.

Stampwhale removed the order - price was encroaching on his wall and got too close for comfort.
It's what I'm saying folks - it's no accident that this crash co-incides with the morass of favourable infrastructure and media developments in the bitcoin "space". There is jostling for position going on.
Russia wants to BAN Bitcoin literally LoL ! They actually want to make it illegal to do anything at all with cryptocurrencies - god knows how they think they're going to have a snowball's hope in hell of enforcing that in all but the most transparent of situations. If thats how they feel about the threat of a transparent blockchain then how about an opaque one ? Krugman's throwing the Kitchen sink at it again.
If that doesn't tell you cryptos are a big deal then I don't know what will. The FUD won't succeed - it's like trying to stop a plague of ants with a machine gun. There isn't even 1 cryptocurrency - there's hundreds !
No matter where this market goes, people are buying and there's going to be a period of turbulence while things get spread out IMO.

His order wouldn't have lasted long if professional NYC traders were in their offices. Dumbass is playing with fire and will get burned if he does it again tomorrow.

Just for clarification - these are the "weak hands" he's talking about - 10,000 BTC dumped at the bottom of the market. Top stuff !! (Whose to say they won't have the last word, but thats for another day).
