Is there any concern on the name being DARK? I am speaking in terms of mass adoption.

Lottery You can win a huge DRK bankroll and help to improve Darkcoin at the same time! My only gamble is in DRK itself...

it's a good coin but it's downfall is it's distribution + community hates negative comments about this coin and ignore you without really debating with you If there are sensible points to debate then we'll debate. I don't know how many posts I've made on technical / economic subjects in the last 2 months. 2-tier architecture vs 1-tier, support for legacy commercial interfaces vs revised ones, the economics of fiat vs crypto and which cryptos are in a position to benefit, the merits of counting vs not counting masternode holdings towards marketcap, privacy vs anonymity and the "libertarian argument", speculative vs real value.... I could go on and on. Theres a ton of things you could be challenging. Yet all people ever come up with is: - "the price keeps falling and everyone on here said it was going to the moon" - "we can't take any criticism" - "there are big holders due to instamine" You people sure know how to give a guy a migrane. Change the record ffs or come up with some semi-informed commentary. I for one am not responsible for the price and unless it goes to zero, I don't really give a sh*t what it is at this point in the coin's life. Also be advised this is an [ANN] thread and if you don't expect holders to be championing the coin for all it's worth during a big rise then go and read the Financial Times for investment advice. I look forward to your posts Tok; they're quite insightful and of great interest to me. I'd be very happy to keep reading them. Your assessments on global financial issues and the games being played out by the central bankers (and all the other manipulators of currencies) I think are spot on. Thanks Plus one. I always look forward to his "amber alert"s!

You'll be waiting a long time for "Release Candidate" 6, considering Darksend has already been released open-sourced, and has already had an exploit patched. No more RCs, this is it! Just improvements from here on out.

I've started to see what Darkcoin is all about now. It never meant to be for every one Worldwide currency like I thought when I invested in this coin; it's a good coin but it's downfall is it's distribution + community hates negative comments about this coin and ignore you without really debating with you. Also this mess with Mintpal biggest Darkcoin exchange took out volume and it's like scattered everywhere some went to Bitfinex others to Cryptsy or Bittrex it's sad really.
Bring a vaguely thought out point to debate, we'll call you a troll. It's difficult to have an intelligent conversation with brainwashed drk cult members. Everything you just posted makes me very mad. Please go away fudster. This thread is for brainwashed darkcoin cult members. Fixed it for you.

Bring a vaguely thought out point to debate, we'll debate. It's difficult to have an intelligent conversation with idiots. Not a single thing you just posted makes any sense whatsoever. Tell me why? please do because I really do want to know if there is something I am missing that you know and I don't. I presume you invested in DRK because you believe there is a market for financial privacy, anonymous transactions... I did, and DRK is the clear leader in the field. And with upcoming InstanTX and other innovations, that lead will grow. Oh, and easily completely compatible with BTC API's. XC is closed source, nobody knows if or how it works. All the CN clones have big technical problems and are a dead end as far as adoption goes, have you ever tried using one of them? What's left? Croak? If you want DRK to succeed, stop complaining and do something about it. Rejoice, open source means complete freedom to contribute! Stop sitting on your arse hoping someone else's hard work is going to make you rich. Or sell your DRK and go somewhere else? It's a free(ish) world. edit: oh look, more progress and innovation on testnet*, which by the way is open for absolutely anyone to participate in - https://darkcointalk.org/threads/v0-15-testing.2611/page-16#post-24890 ****** PLEASE UPDATE TO v10.15.5 *******
- I've made some huge progress with enforcement. Each masternode will have exactly the same distribution of payments after this.
Enforcement is off, I'll turn it back on when the network updates
*waiting for flare to compile :-)
*Do any of our so called competitors even have a testnet, much less one that's free and open to all? Thanks for the link bro' it will be featured in an upcoming tweet.

0.0057?? this coin keeps giving me trouble. >: Then sell it and move on. Many people are doing just that. I can`t, i bought at 0,012 Sorry for your loss. Next time don't get caught up in the lies and propaganda by the resident cultists that will say anything to get you to buy their bags. This occurs with most coins and is not isolated to darkcoin. When you have a bunch of shills like this thread does screaming buy buy buy! It's because they want to sell.

I am not talking about any other coin since I don't trust any other coin but Bitcoin. I also did not say anything about anonymous transactions. Please don't tell me you invested into this coin because you ONLY want to have anonymous transactions becuase most of us here to make money.
If you are here to make money and you aren't making money you have only yourself to blame. Ok my issue is here; if this coin ever gets big how do you think whales would come if we don't have the volume for them to come? & lets assume a whale came and bought 300,000 Darkcoin's and price shoots up to $20 "I assume people won't sell to get easy profits" or else it would be more like $15. So now we have even another problem more coins locked up and price will keep going down if this whale decides to add more MN's.
I cannot lower my IQ enough to comprehend this gibberish. another problem how do you expect normal people who have no computer skills to take the trouble and make their own MN "Yes people would have problems setting up MN's".
I can't fly an airplane, thus, I don't expect to earn a living as an airplane pilot. If I wanted to earn a living as a pilot, I'd learn how to fly a fucking plane. Luckily, learning how to run a Masternode is a lot easier than learning to pilot a 737... Millions of people mine cryptocurrencies, running a Masternode is far easier than building rigs and noodling with mining software. Did I do something wrong with my calculations or assumptions?
Yes.

Ok my issue is here; if this coin ever gets big how do you think whales would come if we don't have the volume for them to come? Liquidity and volume are relative terms. You get more liquidity for the same volume by increasing the price. You've just cited the single biggest case for Bitcoin's price to increase because if it's ever to gain mainstream adoption it requires far more liquidity and the only way it can get that is through a massive price increase since the coin supply is fixed. This isn't an issue with Darkcoin - it's an issue with any growing stock or cryptocurrency. another problem how do you expect normal people who have no computer skills to take the trouble and make their own MN They're not expected to. The whole point of masternodes by design is to set a high "barrier to adoption". Not only do you DEFINITELY need quite advanced "computer skills" (or know someone who has) you also need a big wad of holdings. This strategy has worked. We've got a 1000 strong network of masternodes now which is a good 100% more than expectations back a couple of months ago. That tier of the network turns out to have been well pitched to achieve the technical objective of the original design.

So you are assuming normal people also don't use cash because they are not "whales" (own 300.000 $, €, gold, whathever to play with) and they lack skills to have their own ATM (?) or something like that?

You clearly hate everything about DRK and the people that support it, yet you just can't stop coming here and injecting your negativity and criticism. Toknormal has made many substantial contributions to this forum. He's never claimed to be able to "predict" the altcoin market; he's making commentary like many people do, and I've found it to be intelligent and insightful. But, really until you respond to the 1000DRK challenge Evan has set for you and either accept it or reject it (giving your reasons why), you have absolutely no credibility posting the trash you post in here. Put up or shut the fuck up.

Actually I know many people who have like Zero computer skills yet they are Multi millionairs. And please you can't compare an ATM to a MN! How many people you think here right now own these MN's out of the 1000 right now? 500? Then lets say we reach 2000 MN's which suppose to be the Max or was it 3000? "DOESN'T MATTER" Because now even if someone know's how to have their MN they either 1. Can't because max # of MN's has been reached. 2. It's to expensive if this coin reach's Bitcoin lvl which is right now @ $360 "$360,000". And now you are assuming that a multi-millionaire needs to have computer skills to own a MN? Oh boy...
