If somebody doesn't like the coin or doesn't see a future or whatever, why not just stay away? If I decided to sell my MN and all my coins I really don't think I'd have much interest in lurking around this forum reading what people are saying. Unless I had some ulterior motive. Maybe if I invested at .025 and lost a shit ton of money I guess it could piss me off enough to troll for a little while. Or maybe I'm an investor in another anon coin and it would be in my best interest to troll forums of competitors hoping to sway some sheeple to sell.

My point is that trolls come here for a reason. They are scared shitless at the potential of what DRK can become. Why else would they be here trolling if this wasn't the case?

Unless they are mentally unstable and do this sort of thing for kicks. Basically just trying to get a reaction from people to get there rocks off. These people are socially retarded and can't interact with others in any kind of normal way. Quite pathetic when you think about it... Roll Eyes
I would actually like to get some trolling advice! Because if don't get my coins back from MintGox soon I'm goin to troll those motherfuckers till the cows come home...

Where would be the best place to start? Twitter? Do they have a Reddit thread?
Nope...still have coins there that I can't get. Angry

I was logging in and out of MintPal for weeks before this so called "upgrade"(lol). Not once did I see any notice that the site would be down or did I receive an email about the migration. Great customer service there... Roll Eyes
Ticket with "support"(lol) for going on a week...I'm to the point I'm considering these coins a write off. Sucks ass! And so does MintGox! Kiss

Get lost loser, go back to your pump and dump coin and let us continue to innovate cryptocurrency technology.

You're not innovating anything.  Stop flattering yourself with that ego stroking bullshit.  You're nobody special and never will be.  Nobody cares that you have a bunch of darkcoin, a BMW, a villa somewhere.

I'll most likely be taking a break from crypto for awhile.  When I started the market capitalization was over 10 billion US dollars.  It's now hovering above 5 billion.  That's a pretty sharp decline since February and I still managed to make a huge pile of bitcoin and I converted a significant amount to fiat befor btc took this latest dive.  That isn't sustainable in this current environment.  The altcoin world is imploding and I'm not going down with it.  Take the money and run.  That's what I was taught.

I'll leave you here with your pump and dump darkcoin and put most of my profits into my Scottrade account.  I can be found on several of the investment forums going by the same name.  The rest I'm going to use for some home renovations, basically a kitchen remodel, and a well earned vacation.

Pretty confident that you couldn't sign a transaction from a BTC adress holding 5+ BTC, let alone a "huge pile" of bitcoin.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014

Close client, rename your current wallet.dat to something else, like wallet-old.dat, then fire up the client again. Because there is now no wallet.dat, it will create a new one. Copy the new address, close client, rename wallet.dat wallet-new.dat, rename wallet-old.dat back to wallet.dat, fire up the client again, send funds in old wallet to new wallet address...

- make a backup of your wallet and keep it on a seperate folder / drive.
- close darkcoin client
- go to the location of where yr wallet.dat is located (normally in your %appdata inside a darkcoin folder)
- rename your wallet.dat to old.wallet.dat
- start darkcoin client, it will now create a new wallet.dat with a new darkcoin address
- encrypt your new wallet
- copy your new darkcoinadress in notepad or something.
- close darkcoin client
- rename wallet.dat (this is yr new darkcoinadress) to new.wallet.dat
- rename old.wallet.dat to wallet.dat
- start darkcoin and transfer yr funds to your new darkcoin address
- close darkcoin client
- rename wallet.dat to old.wallet.dat
- rename new.wallet.dat to wallet.dat
- start darkcoin client
- make several new backups to store on usb, other drives .. old backups will not work anymore now.

edit : didnt see thelonecrouton's post.. oh well, use this one if you need a step by step guide.

Couldn't be better if we use DARK instead of DRK, like MAID or DOGE or SYNC...

I've been hounding my son to update the MN as he knows linux and has the vpn account and basically is my tech support. So far since the security update I have been raking it in in MN payments. I've gotten more in the past week than in the entire first month. Do you think it's possible i'm getting more because I havn't updated yet or is this just the new kickass enforcement? Grin

Just finished 12 hr shift where nothing to do but lurk/post in this thread Grin

Sorry not enforcement..."the pimp hand" Cool

When I read Ebolayxt's crap I feel ashamed. This guy is obviously instamined by his parents. It is apparent that his parents were in rush. I am very calm but this guy reached his goal and made me post on this troll's forum.  You can see through his posts that he is envy as hell. I am sure he sold his coins in april and now he just can't understand that this project is something bigger than he thought. It is not only about profit, you can see that something serious is happenning here. This guy already showed what he wants to achieve. His inner world is burning as in hell and he wants everybody in there...becouse...''What's this I don't even'' is fuckin' instamined.

And for those who don't already know, shojayxt is a known troll who got busted using sock puppet accounts in order to lower the price so he could finally get in with his 0.5 BTC roll.

This is his ad I found on craigslist while randomly searching for troll spray:

Is it safe to create additional user accounts in Windows 8 and download Darksend daemon in each of them so that I can set up multiple testnet MNs (and perhaps mainnet MNs in the future) ? What is the limit to the user accounts? Thanks
