No need for a book of Evan in the Bible. Turns out Evan is the subject of the whole thing. Better said his name is derived from the Greek word recognized as the Bible's theme:  Eυαγγέλιo, pronounced evangelio, meaning "good news, and usually translated "gospel."

Very fitting I think, seeing as Evan is in the process of bringing us all the good news of freedom from ____________. (Fill in the blank as you see fit. ;-)
