If it makes you feel any better I pointed a large Sha256 farm your way a while back for half of one shift and about half an hour of another and was very pleased with the outcome!

That's great. I know if they find their way here enough people can set them straight Wink

I know the stats can be quirky especially if people mine temporarily. Didn't want them in here spreading FUD. The pool runs hands off, I don't have the time or inclination to figure out how to single out a miner to scam them. You get out what you put in and for the long term miner's I think they're happy with the results.

I wasn't sure what unconfirmed meant.  I was a bit paranoid because the farm was throwing out a lot of invalid shares and was very bursty at the time.  It was a pleasant surprise when I got another chunk of drk a few days later!

I seem to remember two payments of around 38 DRK.  Same payment address as my sig if you wanted to look in your stats.

Brilliant!!

Only that I fear it might be too advanced for already too advanced alt-coin so perhaps it could wait until both technologies mature Smiley

Like I said, save it for a later version when things are closer to 1.0. We don't want to use all the good names in early development!
BTW--it does look like a nice master node network. Cheesy

Peace to you,

I really like the name Graphite!

It looks good, sounds good, would be easy to make a rendering of for promotion, and has an industrious component:

Darkcoin Graphite V1

Coins101, we need a poll!

Darkcoin Eclipse for InstantX will be seriously cool!

Hi,

I have been trying to anonymize a few coins with no success.

I have set the amount to 3 and pressed start but the button just flicks and returns to start with status disabled, I have tried this many time but the result is the same.

My Darksend balance remains 0

Any ideas ?

Welcome Patrick McHardy to the team!

Patrick is a freelance Linux kernel networking developer and used to lead the netfilter project (http://www.netfilter.org) until 2013. He's been working on anything related to networking from firewalling, IPv4/v6-stack, QoS to DECT and GSM for the past 14 years.

He's also helped analyze the security of the Masternode network and was responsible for finding two recent security vulnerabilities in DSEE/DSEEP.

DRK's fundamentals just got significantly better. The number and quality of programmers are very important factors.

I agree, increasing the number of committed core devs is just as important for the future of the coin imho. Evan for sure is badass but to make this a success we need to continue to attract top class talented devs. Until recently the whole Darkcoin project would have hit the skids big time if Evan was to be hit by the proverbial bus, the more devs and talented people we have working towards the goal the greater the chance if success! try setting the amount a bit higher or bundle all your input amounts through coin control, sent it to yrself, wait for confirmation and then do a mixing.
personally i would set the amount to at least 5 DRK ... to be on the safe side.

Yeah if you have say 10DRK total in your wallet but it's made up of a lot of tiny chunks then you'll need to consolidate it into one bigger lump by sending all the smaller amounts to one address.

Do you think an auto-consolidation would be a good idea to implement for DS?

Automatic I'm not sure about, but I think a pop-up warning would be a great idea.

Awesome~!!

this keeps getting better and better Smiley

welcome Patrick, great to have you here. I see you got huge expertise in networking http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Netfilter

Wow, I'm pretty stupid, but it looks like this project basically invented iptables and he is listed as a core developer, and in order to be a core developer you have to submit successful patches for a long period of time and be cool. I may have misread but it seems like he's a badass.

Your reading skills are just right, he's an amazing developer!!

I prefer badass.....

We should name the latest release in honour of the developers: The Badass Release
