Having a issue understanding. Some have said these work for scrypt, any alt coin that uses scrypt. The description says LTC only ? Some have had good results mining other alt coins, some not. When will the firmware support any script coin fully ? Or is the LTC issue built into the chip...or the custom mining software ? Most use stratum to hide behind Is that working ok for these ? thank you. unless they've done something really weird (either with the machine or a given coin) scrypt is scrypt to the best of my knowledge. LTC was the first scrypt coin, just like BTC was the first SHA-256 coin. Should work for both.

I'll be greedy & ask for an: (1) English based web site? (the Google translater has a comical way about translating things) (2) Availability, (3) Pricing information, (4) Acceptable methods of payment, (5) Product information, such as compatibility, for example: Raspberry Pi (B version), Windows, Mac etc... Thanks in advance. so u're just another lazy person, everything is written in this topic ... price is 2600 USD + shipping for 3 MH , shipping after 15 Feb , BTC only , Windows so far ... and a big slap on your head for beeing lazyActually they have managed to run them with RPI. Made a firmware, said they were going to release it. S4VV4S & Biomech: Thanks for the none negative, non-tarded, response. We, the newbie, Me, appreciate the active & positive forum users, like yourselves, who are always willing to help out in answering questions or have constructive criticism. This ultimately leads to quality forums to frequent. Thanks again.

I read the user guide, but one thing is unclear, with LA3M or LA6M if using controller, do I need to use it through mentioned wiibox.net ?! It's chinese, I dont understand. I.e. when using controller, can I just run controller and cells with miner or is connection to wiibox.net always required? pls download the all guide, drivers, firmware here: http://goo.gl/G27Vxr

I have read the document "LIGHTNINGASIC Easy guide.pdf" from this link. When I understand it right, we have three possibilities, afther you have updated the Firmware from Controller and all miners. First Scenario (use a computer)1. Connect all 10 miners with USB-Hub and Power-Supply 2. Connect the USB-Hub with Controller 3. Connect the Controller with computer 4. Run cgminer or cpuminer Second Scenario(Without using a computer)1. Connect all 10 miners with USB-Hub and Power-Supply 2. Connect the USB-Hub with Controller 3. Connect the Controller with USB-Power-Supply (5V), because we have no PC where is giving the power for the controller-board 4. Run wiibox.net Third Scenario (Use an Raspberry-PI).. It's coming soon (I hope so) I hope ASIABTC can verify this. Greetz Ben P.S Yep, chinese is a hard language, I don't understand too, but I use a standard method. Try'n Error and Google-Translator

I believe on the litecointalk.org thread, user TheMage had reported that asiabtc was going to hire someone to help him with English language translations of the instructions.

I believe it's incorrect to call this 2nd gen...I believe these are the same chips, just put into a different "package"...instead of small units put into heatsinks, the new devices will be the same chips but put onto a couple of boards the way BTC ASICs are done these days...then the whole thing gets put into a typical ATX form factor case.

Ok... When will that be? any ideas? My last PM with Jack/asiabtc was a few days ago when he first announced this...however, he doesn't have pricing or ETA for now. My guess is that they were using the "heatsink" miners to test the waters with the eventual plan to build out "blades" later. I'd figure that they're probably hard at work on switching to a "blade" format which can be easily mounted into a typical ATX computer case and connect it to a typical computer PSU.

Just installed my LA3M in a case:
That looks really nice. I was trying to figure out how to "box" this somehow so all the jumble of wires and parts weren't just strewn around. I think I'll do something similar when my LA3M arrives...Is that a full or mid-tower case?

full and it just fits in Nice. Is it mounted with screws in mounting holes, or did you just zip-tie it all down?
