CryptoCashNow how much longer do we have to wait for this "big" exchange?

There is no hurry, as soon as it hit there and people start talking about it you can kiss goodbye to mining this with ease.

Got the new update all wrapped up. I have not updated the github yet as I'm not at that machine but figured you guys shouldn't wait

Changelog:

Checkpointing key updated and will be turned on at a later date

Hardened checkpoint and stake modifier checkpoint

Coin control! Have complete control over your inputs and monitor their coinage Wink

To enable coin control go to settings/options/display and check the "Display coin control features (experts only!)" option

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxvnM1E8caCvQlZsV3dpSEVSbzQ/edit?usp=sharing

The checkpoint warning should be gone after your update. If not you may need to re download the blockchain. You will not need to do this again as further checkpoints will be broadcast without the need for a client update or the annoying warning

How is 10% pos minting going to influence price? It's a bit steep?

Not really. That's an annual rate, and when it comes into place the coin becomes pure PoS, so you'll only buy able to buy it. There's a ceiling on how many maximum coins there can be, and also;

Quote
Its Proof of Stake you get interest for holding the coin initial minting interest is 10% but as more coins are minted and more wallets holding it will decrease variably based on PoS difficulty.

... We check the forum daily but vanishing coins...... Well lots of people in these forums can answer that one.

Great that Dev is back.. but the fact is...if you had noticed, no one on this thread has been able give a satisfactory explanation about the vanishing coin...

6000 coins may mean nothing to early miners...maybe all have 600,000 cash... but it would probably take my rig 30 days or more to get 6000 cash.

So my take is that this problem is being dismissed too quickly instead of being taken seriously...

You have 6000 cash that disappeared? wow.. that's a lot and it sucks. I have been mining 3 days and i barely have 1000.. Sad

Are you a Bulgarian?

second that, was wondering the same thing.

is there a coin-format (round) logo for this ? a lot of services which list coins (coinwarz, various exchanges, etc) use a standard size/shape for all coins and so i imagine it goes someway to helping others adopt the usage of the coin and hence better for all.

It finds you.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Cash

Delete everything except wallet.dat and peers.dat. Be sure to back up wallet.dat as well. Download new Wallet. Run. Presto.

- copy your wallet.dat (very important!) some where safe.
- delete your .Cashcoin folder in your home directory
- install the latest version of the wallet
- run the wallet application once
- close the wallet application (dont wait for 'sync')
- copy the wallet.dat from your backup back to where it was before (overwrite)
- open the wallet and let it 'sync' and your balances should be restored as expected.

("sync"ing is actually redownloading the blockchain from your peers).

this *should* fix it.

f-it, im gonna have a go at making a logo, maybe a few of us could and we vote on best-logo ? Dev could then decide to go with one of them ... ill be back with my logo ideas tomorrow.

sound like a corrupt wallet somehow.
is the wallet trying to sync etc ? or has it fully synced ? or its not even going to try ?

i dont use the windows client myself but the linux command-line daemon, so i don't know about that error specifically though the process is the same on all systems.

hmm, googling that error shows some pretty bad scenarios of others having to use pywallet and fixwallet python scripts (for bitcoin/litecoin), but afaik no such tools exist for CASH ... yet.

not sure what to try from here Sad

cant suggest enough that everyone keep periodic backups of their wallet.dat files (not overwrites!) from different dates for these kinds of issues.
