How much is a NEM stake right now? Converted to BTC
I'm not sure about the price this minute but it's been hovering above and below 3 BTC recently. |

subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The
subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

How much is a NEM stake right now? Converted to BTC
Roughly 1 NEM stake = 1.8 BTC as of right now, but it's fluctuating every hour of course. Since the NXT AE launch it hit a high of 5 BTC and a low of 1.3 BTC roughly if my calculations are correct. |

Is the account number (if nem is going to have them like nxt) generation algorithm already know?
It would be nice to publish a script and/or a website where the stakeholders could generate their account numbers and then register their stake to them, probably by pm.
I know there are NXT AE's stake assets, but they have a limited validity period.

Open Alpha is in testnet with monopoly money. So no claim of stakes just yet. That has to wait for a while more. |

It will take a bit more to configure what he has to but he said it's on the way. hes not just listing nem.. he is listing the whole nxt AE.. i think it would be best nem is top of nxtAE market cap page than way down bottom of coin market cap.. i think thats what he is doing anyway.. Not sure, but as long as it's up there it'll be fine. More good news, nice! So if he add the whole AE, NEM will be ranked first in shortly after. That should be a good puplicity for free and bring a lot newbies, whom may check it and maybe buy some. |

Some people on the asset exchange have upwards of 12 stakes. I saw multiple accounts with over 10 just scanning through. Some big holders are beginning to form.
I almost guessed that happening  i dont think it will effect nem that much.. if a whale wants a large amount of a currency.. they will usually acquire it one way or another.. whether its buying up cheap now or manipulation of the market after launch.. so it makes no odds really.. lets just hope these are the type of whales to put up bounties and give donations and fund conferences ect.. I agree, it is normal in the development of a currency... some of these large holders may even benefit the currency like you said. There were probably a couple stakeholders with 10+ sockpuppets never caught too, so I am guessing there are currently around 20 people with over 10 stakes each. I am guessing that out of these 20 one or two may have over 20 stakes. Then the devs may get around 40 stakes (not sure). However this still seems to be a great distribution with little manipulation. -EFFV |
